Video at link, Sen Barrasso segment begins at 5:04 min. On Saturday, President Donald Trump's defense team had the opportunity to poke holes in the House Democrats' impeachment case. One of the topics the defense team instantly ran with was House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff's (D-CA) totally bogus narrative of what took place in Trump's July 25th call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY), when the defense team played the video of Schiff "reading" his version of the call transcript, "the blood drained from Adam Schiff's face." "Today we heard a presentation that was...

HAVE I EARNED TOMORROW? Is anybody happier because you passed this way? Does anybody remember that you spoke to them today? The day is almost over and its toiling time is through: Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word of you? Can you say tonight in parting with the day that's slipping fast, That you helped a single person of the many that you passed? Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said? Does the one whose hopes were fading now with courage look ahead? Did you waste the day...

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said Saturday it is “certainly possible” some Senate Democrats will vote to acquit President Donald Trump when the Senate impeachment trial concludes. The Connecticut Democrat said that the Senate Democrat conference will likely vote for additional witnesses; however, he added that he cannot guarantee all Democrats will vote to convict the president. Sen. Murphy said Saturday morning: I don’t have any reason to think there are Democrats that aren’t with us on procedural votes. It’s certainly possible there are Democrats that are going to vote no on one of the articles, two of the articles. And...

It’s 2020, which means election year is upon us. And although Washington is currently preoccupied with the impeachment melodrama going on in the Senate, we should not lose sight of problems in our voter registration and election process that imperil the integrity of upcoming local, state, and federal elections. When our citizens exercise their right to choose their leaders, their votes shouldn’t be diluted or stolen through fraud or administrative errors. Unfortunately, that remains a problem, as demonstrated by the proven cases in The Heritage Foundation’s election fraud database. We recently added 18 instances of election fraud to the database,...

(snip)During an interview with NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly that aired Friday, Pompeo refused to say whether he owed an apology to Yovanovitch, whose firing has featured prominently in President Trump’s impeachment inquiry. An aide ended the interview after Kelly pressed Pompeo for a response. Kelly recounted what happened next in a report that accompanied her interview. She said a staffer brought her to Pompeo's private sitting room, where he was waiting for her. Even though she was not allowed to bring her recording equipment into the room, she said there was no request that she keep the exchange off the...

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. What does God mean with his stripes we are healed. He means the provision of healing has already been made. Because, Peter looking back at the cross agrees in 1Peter 2:24. Peter says, "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead...

Asked if he thought the defense team was effective, Romney replied, "I just don't have any comments on the process or the evidence until the trial is...
