For all the noise and drama of the 2020 Democratic primary—all the talk of a “diverse†field of candidates and the rise of the party’s progressive wing—it might turn out that the old white guy wins the whole thing easily. The old white guy in this case is Joe Biden, not Bernie Sanders, who needs to win the upcoming Iowa caucuses, and probably the New Hampshire primary, to stave off an inevitable Biden nomination.A pair of polls released Monday made the stakes clear heading into Iowa, now less than three weeks away. A Monmouth University poll confirmed that the...

MILWAUKEE — President Donald Trump heads to battleground Wisconsin on Tuesday to rally supporters just down the street from where Democrats will meet in six months to nominate his opponent, a campaign trip that coincides with the Democratic presidential debate in neighboring Iowa. Counter-protests and other related events organized by both Democrats and the Trump administration were planned in Milwaukee ahead of the rally at an arena in the heart of downtown. In July, Democrats are holding their national convention nearby. It will be the Republican president's first appearance in Wisconsin since July. He scheduled the rally for roughly the...

Over the holidays, I read Elton John's biography, "Me." He writes about his friendship with Freddie Mercury, the ultra-talented lead singer of the rock group Queen. Mercury tragically died of AIDS at the age of 45 in 1991. Mercury was one of the last people to die of the disease in Britain during the epidemic years. John writes sadly and almost offhandedly that if Mercury had lived one year longer, he probably would have survived because of the AIDS medication that eventually saved millions of lives. Then, a few days ago, we all read on the front pages of newspapers...

With the death of General Soleimani and Iran's subsequent "saving face" retaliation, many pundits and commentators have expressed fear of an escalation of violence between the U.S. and Iran, something that could even mount into a third world war. Considering that those pushing this narrative also happen to push the narrative that Trump is a fascist dictator, Obama's foreign policy was beyond reproach, and the current impeachment is completely legitimate, it's safe to assume that these critics are mistaken. Trump is unlikely to start a war with Iran; he has no reason to do so, nor does anyone want this...

President Trump and first lady Melania Trump attended the College Football National Championship game on Monday where they were given an extremely warm welcome, with the crowd loudly cheering and breaking out in “USA” chants. “This is America,” the GOP’s Rapid Response Director Steve Guest reminded on Twitter. The crowd went absolutely wild for @realDonaldTrumpand @FLOTUSat the College Football National Championship game as they walked onto the field. Chants of "USA" broke out. In November of 2018 Georgia House of Representatives Minority Leader Stacey Abrams lost her race for governor. Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Cory Booker (NJ) sought to explain why this far-left candidate failed to be elected. "It was because of voter suppression," Booker claimed. "People just stopped voting, even when the polls were still open. Too many Democrats had been brainwashed with the idea that you can only cast one ballot per election. Others who broke free from the brainwashing voted multiple times in various precincts around the state. If every Democrat had done this Stacey would be governor today." if...

You might call it a giant leap for 3D bioprinting: Human heart cells have been 3D printed on the International Space Station (ISS) and are making their way back to Earth this week inside a SpaceX capsule. The 3D BioFabrication Facility (BFF) was developed by Techshot Inc., a commercial operator of microgravity research and manufacturing equipment, in partnership with nScrypt, a manufacturer of industrial 3D bioprinters and electronics printers. “Our BFF has the potential to transform human healthcare in ways not previously possible,” said Techshot President and CEO John Vellinger. ”We’re laying the foundation for an entire industry in space.”...

Barack Obama had something to celebrate today because the Netflix documentary he and wife Michelle produced, "American Factory," was predictably nominated for an Oscar for best documentary.“Glad to see American Factory’s Oscar nod for Best Documentary,” Obama tweeted. "It’s the kind of story we don’t see often enough and it’s exactly what Michelle and I hope to achieve with Higher Ground." Higher Ground is the name of the Obamas' production company. Last year they were accused of "deplorable behavior" over a trademark dispute over the name of the company."Congrats to the incredible filmmakers and entire team!” Obama added. Glad...

By any conventional evaluation the United States clearly came out on top in the recent imbroglio with Iran. Put simply, had a Democratic president been in power, the print media, airwaves and internet would have been awash with paeans to the chief executive and his advisors. The series of incidents would be depicted as admirable, an example of balancing restraint and force to achieve national ends. The only reason this is not the accepted narrative in the media, and especially among Democrats is that the impresario of this victory was Donald Trump. The current “crisis” with Iran began with the...

It was all so strange. Why were democrats so protective of Qasem Soleimani? Why did they side so strongly with Iran over the United States? Why were they emphatic about protecting the pathetic Iran deal which Iran has been violating since day one? Now we know. A few days ago Michael Doran,Senior Director for the Middle East under Bush, sent out a tweet https://twitter.com/Doranimated/status/1215600795602837505I found this astonishing. Now Lee Smith has fleshed it out. Because the fact is that the Democrats are not pro-terrorist. They’re simply intent on protecting the historic agreement that legalized the nuclear weapons program of a terror state....

That doesn’t sound accurate… You should be laughing after reading that headline. Hollywood goofball Alec Baldwin knows very little of which he speaks, but he honestly believes what he says is on-point. What more do you need to know about the Democrat Party? They are cool with killing unborn babies, ripping up the Constitution, tossing Christianity out of America and forcing more and more government regulation down the throats of each and every Americans, but Republicans are responsible for the nation’s “moral collapse?” Head scratcher. From Breitbart: https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2020/01/13/alec-baldwin-trump-supporters-responsible-for-near-moral-collapse-of-this-country/

Gunfighters range from different occupations including lawman, outlaw, cowboy, exhibitionists and duelist, but are more commonly synonymous to a hired gun who made a living with his weapons in the Old West. The New York Times reported on Monday that hackers from the Russian military intelligence unit known as the GRU succeeded in hacking Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas company that Hunter Biden sat on the board of, and that Joe Biden protected from investigation by withholding $1 billion in aid unless Ukrainian officials fired the prosecutor investigating the company.GRU is responsible for other high-profile hacks of the DNC and John Podesta. Seven GRU officers were indicted in 2018 for conspiring to interfere with the 2016 election. The hacking attempts against Burisma began in early November, as the Democrats' impeachment efforts...

Mayor Pete, as he likes to be called, who has led the cry that Iran's shooting down of a Ukrainian airliner using a Russian missile is somehow the fault of an American president, Donald J. Trump, is among those who say it was "collateral damage" resulting from Trump trashing the flawed and unworkable Iran nuclear deal and his zapping of terrorist Quds Force commander Gen. Qassem Soleimani. Knowing that Democrats obey Rahm Emanuel's famous observation that a crisis is a terrible thing to waste, Mayor Pete wasted no time attaching his name to the slander that the 176 innocents aboard...

We may finally get a Democrat debate tonight that isn't deathly boring for a change. Elizabeth Warren, facing declining poll numbers, is attacking Bernie Sanders with the claim that in a private meeting 13 months ago, he told her that a woman could not win the presidency. M.J Lee of CNN broke the story yesterday: The stakes were high when Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren met at Warren's apartment in Washington, DC, one evening in December 2018. The longtime friends knew that they could soon be running against each other for president. The two agreed that if they ultimately faced each other as presidential candidates, they should...
