Seattle-area fans of BMW, Ducati and other high-end motorcycles got a rude shock last week when five local dealerships were shuttered by their owner, a Microsoft executive who is described as an avid motorcycle racer with little apparent experience in the industry. On Thursday, workers at the five NobleRush dealerships — a joint BMW-Ducati-KTM location at 8100 Lake City Way in Seattle; a Ducati dealership in Redmond, and two multibrand dealerships in Auburn — learned that the businesses had been closed indefinitely, according to former employees, the previous owner of one of the dealerships, and social media posts by customers....

Former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign is mounting an offensive strategy in the midst of allegations that President Trump attempted to exert pressure on Ukraine against his political rival. The drumbeat on impeachment has hit a fevered pitch on the Hill, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi vowing to move forward with an official impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. Her announcement came just hours after Biden told a gathering of reporters in Wilmington, Delaware that if the president failed to comply with congressional requests impeachment would be "a tragedy of (Trump's) own making." Biden’s messaging on impeachment might seem a...

The lead counsel representing the Ukraine whistleblower donated to Joe Biden's presidential campaign earlier this year, records show. Andrew Bakaj, founder and managing partner of D.C.-based law firm Compass Rose Legal Group, is the lead counsel working on behalf of the Ukraine whistleblower. Bakaj earmarked a $100 donation on April 26 through ActBlue, a fundraising nonprofit that helps facilitate contributions for Democrats, to Biden's presidential campaign, the Federal Election Commission's website shows. Biden appears to be the only recipient of campaign cash from Bakaj this year.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) released the following statement: “For months, the President of the United States has failed to respect the authority endowed to Congress by the Constitution. He has directed members of his Administration and former campaign officials to show contempt for Congressional subpoenas and investigations. The reports of a whistleblower complaint clearly call into question the oath the president took to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States above political, financial, and personal gain. The president has done more than enough to meet the legal standards to justify impeachment. It’s time...

Conservatives should realize the value of a future British-Indian-American-Australian axis, the largest free-market group in the world, a highly educated research pool, and the strongest military axis to balance the rise of China. I try to avoid writing about India, my country of birth. Even though I now live and research in the United Kingdom and work for a bunch of British and American publications, I find it prudent to avoid accusations of bias. That said, Indian Prime Minister Narendra ModiÂ’s Texas event with President Trump is an instance of geopolitical significance, only matched by the amount of deliberate vitriol...

Janet Napolitano is stepping down as president of the University of California, claiming, “it seemed like a good time to have some fresh blood.” Napolitano was never an educator, so students, alumni, and taxpayers have good cause to wonder why she was hired in the first place. As they survey the wreckage she leaves behind, Californians might look back at Napolitano’s political connections. Janet Napolitano made her public debut in the 1991 campaign to keep Clarence Thomas off the U.S. Supreme Court. Anita Hill accused Thomas of sexually harassing her and Napolitano, then with a Phoenix law firm, represented...

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres’ speech to the 74th annual High-Level General Assembly meeting on September 24th was full of generalities about world problems the UN is purporting to deal with, in contrast to President Trump's honest discussion of hard truths. “We are here to advance the common good while upholding our shared humanity and values,” the secretary general said. “That vision united the founders of our Organization.” However, Secretary General Guterres’ concept of the UN “vision” today is of a globalist institution, which was not the founders’ original vision at all. The founders' vision for a new United...

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because The Campaign Never Ends) The transcript of the call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky is out, and now we know why the Democrats are really in such a panic here. – You can read the transcript for yourself at this link. First, the key takeaway here is that there is clearly, unarguably ZERO quid pro quo in anything President Trump says on this call. NONE. ZERO. ZIP. NADA. And no amount of deception on the part of our fake news media can change that immutable fact. Here is exactly what the...

ATTORNEY General Geoffrey Cox has revealed plans for a THIRD election vote - as he ripped into disgraceful Labour MPs for stopping the PM from going to the people. After Boris Johnson dashed back from New York to address furious MPs this afternoon, the Cabinet minister told the Commons to watch out for an "election motion that will be coming before the House shortly" Westminster is reeling today after the dramatic ruling from the Supreme Court yesterday which ruled Boris Johnson's advice to the Queen on shutting down Parliament was unlawful. Tourists could fly from Britain to Australia in just four hours by the 2030s with a new hypersonic engine being developed by UK scientists, the head of the UK Space Agency has said. Reaction Engines, who are based in Oxfordshire, are in the process of building a hybrid hydrogen air-breathing rocket that will allow a plane to fly at Mach 5.4 - more than twice the speed of Concorde - then speed up to to Mach 25 in space. Not only would the new ‘Sabre’ engine allow speedier journeys - with a flight between London and New York slashed to...

Before Greta Thunberg captured the world's attention with her rousing speech on the climate crisis, the 16-year-old activist already had a packed schedule. She was even nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Here's where the Swedish climate activist is going next, said the organizers of the global climate strike.
