A damning new report from the United Nations says that the world's oceans are undergoing drastic, accelerated change. And the risks associated with these changes to the climate are getting ever greater, threatening hundreds of millions of people and the global economy itself.

The oceans all died in the 80’s right after the acid rain from the Ice Age of the 70’s came pouring down.
"Neener-neener, I told you so"
“The oceans all died in the 80s right after the acid rain from the Ice Age of the 70s came pouring down.”
Fortunately the government put in place a plastic and crude oil replacement so no one noticed.
It looked fine in May
Has all the corral reefs died yet, like they were 8 years ago?

I started deep sea fishing when I was in the Army in Panama. The GUlf of Panama was incredible but even then the old guys who had been around for a while said it wasnt what it used to be. My son and I caught 50 yellow fin tuna in one day fishing for Wahoo. I have seen the entire Gulf of Panama fill with greenbacks when the Humboldt Current dropped the water temp. 25 degrees over night which happens every year in mid December.
I took my son on a trip to Galera which was a reach for us because it was so lightly fished. You should have seen the teeming life we saw. Whales breaching, porpoises jumping, the fish finder filled with schools of fish. Bait balls busting the surface all over the place. Even while I was there the long liners moved in (from Japan). They put out long lines that run for miles.
Then we moved to the Chesapeake which should be a fairly productive bay. It was a real eye opener to go from a lightly touched ecosystem to a raped and plundered one. Every time we came home from fishing in Panama I handed out bags of fillets to the block. Fishing in the Chesapeake Bay it is a challenge to catch an actual meal.
IMHO the worlds Oceans have been overfished for a long, long time and governments have done nothing but make the problem worse.
This report does the usual cherry picking of start dates for their warming data, and talks about the increases from pre-industrial levels, implying that all the changes have come post-Civil War.
Hussein better put his beachfront mansion up for sale, pronto.
LOLOLOL
Withdraw the US from the UN and evict them from our country.....
I knew globull climate change had killed us all when the snows of Kilimanjaro disappeared..................................................................................Oh, wait...
A report from the UN? LOLOLOLOL...FU UN.
Women, minorities, LGBTQ hardest hit.
Every damning report from the U. N. serves only to damn the U. N., for it’s attempt at misleading for propagandist purposes.
Overfished oceans are the pescatarian’s (aka vegetarians lite) fault. Save the fish, eat beef.
