When it comes to a big-balls, no-holds-barred conservative, Americans have seldom seen a better champion of constitutionalism than Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) The House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member took the panel’s psycho chairman, Jerrold “Jowels” Nadler (D-N.Y.) and his fellow sycophant partisans to task in an epic fashion as the committee opened a hearing into a bullshit “impeachment” probe against President Donald Trump. Only in Washington, D.C., where swamp creatures rule, could a duly elected president who was victimized by an attempted coup then be subject to an impeachment inquiry. Unbelievable. Well, Collins was having none of it.

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz said Wednesday that he referred ex-FBI Director James Comey for criminal prosecution. “We are required by the [Inspector General] Act to send information that we’ve identified that could plausibly be criminal to the Department of Justice,” said Mr. Horowitz, confirming what amounted to a criminal referral. The Justice Department ultimately decided not to prosecute Mr. Comey despite Mr. Horowitz’s team concluding he improperly leaked information to the news media. The documents leaked by Mr. Comey were sensitive, but not classified. Mr. Comey asked a law professor friend to share with The New York Times...

Bishop Dons Hindu Robes for Mass Before Ritual Genitalia of Pagan Gods Catholic church has tabernacle in the form of the phallus of a Hindu deity DESHNUR, India (ChurchMilitant.com) - An Indian bishop has provoked a backlash from Catholic and Hindus after he celebrated the Holy Eucharist using saffron robes worn by Hindu priests before a tabernacle in the form of a Shivalinga — the phallus of the Hindu god Shiva. Bp. Derek Fernandes Bishop Derek Fernandes and his concelebrating clergy were photographed at Mass wearing Hindu clerical vestments and sporting rudraksha malas — a necklace of Hindu beads. The clerics had also smeared their foreheads...

The 2019 NFL season has gotten off to a brutal start for the league's quarterbacks, who are dropping like flies. Through just two weeks, we've already seen Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees and Nick Foles go down with serious injuries. Cam Newton might also end up missing a game in Week 3 due to a foot problem and Sam Darnold is expected to miss multiple games due to mononucleosis. With so many quarterbacks going down, it seems that Colin Kaepernick is hoping the 2019 season will be the year that his unofficial blackballing from the NFL finally comes to an end....

The series — streaming from Netflix October 2 — aims to both “illuminate and humanize the complex U.S. immigration system.” Variety added that it shows the “struggles many must endure in their quest to pursue the American dream.” Yes, it’s a dangerous and hard crime to commit. Maybe if we see how hard these folks work at making illegal crossings, risking their kids with potential human traffickers, among other crimes, we will sympathize better. Gomez herself demands that we change our thinking on "immigrants." She claimed that the reason she “chose to produce this series” was that “the word immigrant...

Today in chapel, we confessed to plants. Together, we held our grief, joy, regret, hope, guilt and sorrow in prayer; offering them to the beings who sustain us but whose gift we too often fail to honor. What do you confess to the plants in your life?

HOCKLEY, Texas - A robbery at a drive-in theater in northwest Harris County ended with one of the suspects dead after a manager opened fire, authorities said. The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday at the Showboat Drive-In Theater on FM 2920 in Hockley, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Authorities said preliminary information suggests two men sneaked into the concession stand while it was still open and waited for it to close. They came out when they thought everyone was gone, but two managers were still upstairs and they heard rummaging, authorities said. Owner Andrew Thomas said one...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoJxreP1vVINote that the courtroom is almost completely empty because the Deep State players did not attend today's hearing with Horowitz; they didn't want to hear what he had to say about the IG report and they didn't want to use their right to ask him questions for 5 minutes. I only caught the last 10 minutes of the hearing but based on what I heard, will definitely watch the rest. RE the 10 minutes I watched: Meadows and Jordan were asking Horowitz about the IG report; Jordan confirmed with Horowitz that although the IG report documented matters of concern (e.g.,...

A head device that zaps the brain with electromagnetic waves appears to have reversed the effects of Alzheimer's in a trial. Eight patients with mild or moderate forms of the brain-destroying disorder took part in experimental transcranial electromagnetic treatment (TEMT). It involved them wearing a skullcap of magnets which sent electric pulses to break down build-ups of proteins known to stop nerve cells working properly. Seven of the patients showed a 'highly significant improvement' in tests of their memory, language, attention, behaviour and moods. Researchers hope the promising results could be the start of a breakthrough in Alzheimer's research, which...

In our political debates over gun policies, those who favor increased regulations and restrictions on firearms often claim that they're only asking for widely-supported, modest changes in the law. We're not coming for your guns, they promise; we're only looking to make a few 'common sense' alterations to the status quo. They cite polling that favors their position, and they ridicule as paranoid those Second Amendment supporters who warn about a so-called slippery slope. But emboldened leftist Democrats have been vindicating many conservatives' worst fears in recent days, with two answers at last Thursday's presidential debate standing out on this...

For days I’ve studied the complicated story of the legal war between anti-abortion activists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt (Center for Medical Progress) and the government in California, led by Attorney General Xavier Becerra. A preliminary hearing is underway in San Francisco Superior Court, brought against Daleiden and Merritt, and set in motion originally by former California AG Kamala Harris. If convicted, Daleiden and Merritt could face up to 10 years in prison for faking their identities and recording damning undercover videos that exposed the abortion industries darkest secrets. The charges include 15 felony counts of illegal taping. By now,...

Over the last number of years, I’ve had the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the writings of the Apostolic Fathers. The Apostolic Fathers are an informal collection of early Christian writings, roughly 95-150 AD, which include books like the Didache, 1 & 2 Clement, the Epistle of Barnabas, and letters from Polycarp and Ignatius. In recent years, scholars have expressed increased skepticism about whether these writings can inform our understanding of the development of the canon. What appear to be citations of and allusions to New Testament books are not that at all, we are told, but...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took aim at House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler in a closed-door meeting last week, saying that the panel has taken the push for impeachment of President Trump far beyond the position of the House Democratic caucus. Pelosi shocked those present at the meeting with her criticism of Nadler and added that the Democrats don’t have the necessary votes to impeach Trump. “You can feel free to leak this,” Pelosi said to those present, according to Politico. The revelations come on the heels of a contentious hearing in which former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was...

Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today. None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true. What follows is a collection of notably wild predictions from notable people in government and science. More than merely spotlighting the failed predictions, this collection shows that the makers of failed apocalyptic predictions often are individuals holding respected positions in government and science. While such predictions have been and continue to be enthusiastically reported by a media eager for sensational headlines, the failures are typically not revisited. 1967:...

Cdl. Marx defies Vatican: German ‘synod’ will go ahead despite plan being called ‘not…valid’ September 17, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Cardinal Reinhard Marx has fired back at the Vatican after it informed him the German bishops’ plans for a “binding synodal path” are “not ecclesiologically valid,” saying the German bishops’ plans, which include addressing issues of priestly celibacy, the role of women, and sexual morality, will be “helpful” to the Church. “Countless believers in Germany consider [these issues] to be in need of discussion,” Marx wrote to Cardinal Marc Ouellet of the Vatican’s Congregation for Bishops. More than 200,000 Catholics...

On Tuesday, President Donald J. Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski single-handedly embarrassed the Democratic House Judiciary Committee. Even CNN said he "owned" Rep. Nadler, Rep Swalwell, and the rest of the kooky cabal. It was a giant waste of taxpayer money. However, Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan brought up perhaps the most important fact of Lewandowski's testimony. He, former FBI Director James Comey, and special counsel investigator Robert Mueller all gave the same answer -- the Trump campaign never colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. "@CLewandowski_ worked with the Trump campaign for nearly 2 years. He testified they...

Two months ago, President Trump opined that perhaps the violent Leftist group Antifa should be designated a terrorist organization. Senator Ted Cruz called for the U.S. Justice Department to use RICO statutes to prosecute members of the organization. These calls followed numerous instances of Antifa violence, notably a firebomb attack on an ICE facility. Despite these violent acts, the Democratic party has failed to condemn Antifa and its violence. Some of the denials would be almost comical if the situation wasn’t so serious.

In a move President Trump said will reduce car prices but will also anger environmental groups, the administration is revoking California's authority to set strict fuel economy standards. Trump announced the move Wednesday, saying the decision was made “in order to produce far less expensive cars for the consumer,” while making cars safer at the same time.
