Officials promoting so-called "red-flag laws" should be evaluated for fitness to serve. Why? Because their so called "extreme protection orders" are blatant constitutional violations and have no place in an American system of justice. This much is obvious. Empowering your neighbors, roommates, former lovers, relatives or people who have a grudge against you to use armed police to attack you, without warning or probable cause, does you serious criminal harm and must be stopped cold. \ Encouraging the public to "red flag" each other is what dictators did in the Soviet Union, communist China and elsewhere. Leftist sympathizers in America...

Having an open border combined with a welfare state is crazy. It’s like having a really nice house with really nice things inside, and then telling people, “It’s all yours. Come on in any time you want. Take whatever you wish”. What do you think would happen? It’s stupid not to have locks on your doors. But it’s even more stupid to treat all your things as if they all belong to others. Yet that’s pretty much what we’re doing now in America, or at least we WILL be doing if the leftists, Democrats and RINO types get their way....

NEW YORK - As the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and New York City Police Department look to crack down on fare beating, new police numbers reportedly show minorities make up the bulk of people stopped for jumping the subway turnstiles. The U.S. Treasury Department has incorrectly labeled China a manipulator of its currency. An important distinction exists between devaluing a currency and currency depreciation. Devaluing implies the People’s Bank of China actively manipulated the value of the Chinese renminbi to gain unfair advantage for its exports. Depreciation simply means the renminbi has lost purchasing power relative to the U.S. dollar, based on market forces. There’s no indication that China is actively devaluing its currency. However, according to the Treasury Department, China met a broad definition of manipulation laid out in the Omnibus Trade and Competitiveness Act of 1988, which says...

If you pee in the pool, it’ll go blue! There’s a special dye in there, designed to detect urine, and it’ll billow around you in a big, embarrassing, pissy cloud, and everyone will know you’ve done it, and you’ll be hounded out of town as a known pool-piddler. Everybody knows that, right? Except it isn’t true. It doesn’t even stand up to any scrutiny as an idea — what chemical specifically detects wee-wee? Would something that would react that dramatically to a dribble of micturition be safe to swim in? And if it happened, and someone was suddenly surrounded by...

Although Chris Cuomo and his employer, CNN, insist that calling someone 'Fredo' is an ethnic slur on a par with the n-word, even Vox takes exception to such a comparison. On Tuesday, Vox culture staff writer Alissa Wilkinson weighed in on this topic and came down very definitely on the side of no ethnic slur represented by "Fredo." The very title of her article reveals what she thinks about this controversy: "CNN’s Chris Cuomo said 'Fredo' is like 'the n-word' for Italians. It’s … not."

Trump ally tries to defend absolute abortion restrictionsDemocratic 2020 contenders call for King’s resignation  Republican congressman Steve King has tried to defend a proposal for absolutist abortion restrictions on Wednesday by saying that without rape and incest the human race might long since have disappeared. “What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled out anyone who was a product of rape or incest?†King told a breakfast meeting in Urbandale, Iowa. “Would there be any population of the world left if we did that? Considering all the wars and all the rapes and pillages that happened...

RUSH: The Drive-Bys, they’re incorrigible. Now they are literally trying to once again talk the people of this country into a recession. Now they’re doing it with the inverted yield curve. And the whole problem here is the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve is anti-Trump, is making a mess of the interest rate circumstance. So many people in that town want rid of Trump that they’re going to stop at nothing. It doesn’t matter what damage they do to the economy or the country. And it’s not unprecedented, folks. This has been done before. What was it, back in 2006,...

Because the agricultural industry is considered both cruel to animals and a menace to the climate, some European nations — most notably Germany — are considering levying a so-called “sin tax,” similar to taxes on cigarettes and alcohol, on red meat. Proponents believe the tax will encourage more people to switch to poultry and plant-based proteins. Environmentalists, animal-rights activists and climate hysterics have been pushing the idea for a few years, but now, at least in Western Europe, some governments are seriously considering taxing consumers for the privilege of purchasing red meat. A report by Fitch Solutions Macro Research, a...
