In the wake of the most recent mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, as the pieces continue to come together, the narrative demonizing white Americans and law-abiding gun owners is already raging. Infowars declares that this is all “in preparation for their globalist and corporate-backed civil war.” On Saturday, police responded to reports of a mass shooting at a Walmart near the Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, with at least 18 people shot and 1 killed. The El Paso PD issued a tweet warning that the scene is still active. One witness told CBS News that he was about...

Ideally, Michael Coard envisions 400 black children wearing white T-shirts lined up along Market Street and carrying posters counting each year between 1619 and 2019. That it be a perfect, organized display (Have you ever tried to line up 40 children, let alone 400?) is less important than making a profound statement to mark the 400th anniversary of Africans being brought to Fort Monroe, in Hampton, Va., to be enslaved.

AT&T employees took bribes to unlock millions of smartphones, and to install malware and unauthorized hardware on the company's network, the Department of Justice said yesterday. These details come from a DOJ case opened against Muhammad Fahd, a 34-year-old man from Pakistan, and his co-conspirator, Ghulam Jiwani, believed to be deceased. The DOJ charged the two with paying more than $1 million in bribes to several AT&T employees at the company's Mobility Customer Care call center in Bothell, Washington. OPERATING SINCE 2012 The bribery scheme lasted from at least April 2012 until September 2017. Initially, the two Pakistani men bribed...

All over the world, Trump is doing for Britain almost overnight what Britain’s leaders have failed to do for decades. He’s finally clearing up the shameful mess that Britain left when it welched on its imperial responsibilities, and he’s doing it for free. Instead of snobbishly deriding him, the British should thank the orange man for freeing them from their destructive relationships with the Orangemen in Northern Ireland, and the police-state Islamists of Pakistan and the Palestinian Authority. The obvious way to thank Trump won’t cost Britain much either. The City of London is already full of crass monuments to...

After a violent weekend in which two mass shootings claimed the lives of 31 people in Texas and Ohio, Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput didn’t offer thoughts and prayers. He offered criticism of those who think gun control is the solution. ...only a fool can believe that ‘gun control’ will solve the problem of mass violence,” he wrote in his weekly column, which was posted on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s website, CatholicPhilly.com, and his Facebook page. Chaput further wrote: “The people using the guns in these loathsome incidents are moral agents with twisted hearts. And the twisting is done by the...

I repeat: 500,000 trees. Killed. (That’s all U.S. Sunday newspapers combined.) What a bummer. **SNIP** What I found was bad news… >> 500,000 trees must be cut down just to produce each week’s Sunday newspaper (all U.S. Sunday papers combined). >> In total, newsprint consumption in the U.S. (2009) meant a loss of 95 million trees, generation of 126 billion gallons of waste water and emission of 73 billion pounds of greenhouse gases. Ouch! >> Recycling a single run of the Sunday New York Times would save 75,000 trees. >> If all newspaper was recycled—including the daily papers—we’d save about...

Monday Fox News contributor Karl Rove said President Donald Trump needs to do better than the “raw and dangerous” rhetoric he has used while commenting on racial issues. Discussing politicians comments on the recent mass shootings, Rove said, “Everybody in our political system needs to do better. The president needs to do better. His rhetoric at times has been raw and dangerous, I think in terms of being easily misunderstood. The Charlottesville statement, for example.”

Never let a crisis go to waste, right? The left is using the back-to-back mass shootings as an opportunity to attack the 2nd Amendment and now they’re coming for 1 A. Democrat Senator and 2020 hopeful Cory Booker (NJ) demanded Trump’s Manchester rally next week and all future rallies be cancelled. According to Cory Booker, President Trump and his supporters should not have 1st Amendment rights. “[T]hese rallies serve as a breeding ground for racism and bigotry that inspire white nationalist attacks like the one in El Paso on Saturday,” Cory Booker said in a statement. “They are despicable and...

Beresheet was a robotic lander. Though it didn't transport astronauts, it carried human DNA samples, along with the aforementioned tardigrades and 30 million very small digitized pages of information about human society and culture. However, it's unknown if the archive — and the water bears — survived the explosive impact when Beresheet crashed The tardigrades and the human DNA were late additions to the mission, added just a few weeks before Beresheet launched on Feb. 21. Much like Cretaceous fossils locked in amber, the DNA samples and tardigrades were sealed in a resin layer protecting the DVD-size lunar library, while...

The Boy Scouts of America are continuing to cover-up a “pedophilia epidemic within their organization,” a group of lawyers alleged Tuesday in a new lawsuit. The Abused in Scouting lawyers said they’ve identified 350 previously unknown scoutmasters and volunteers who allegedly preyed on boys — and whose names were not known to law enforcement or in the BSA’s internal database, which critics have called “perversion files.” “You can’t look at these files and not come to the conclusion that this was a massive problem that was hidden,” attorney Tim Kosnoff said at a press conference. “We know that when a...

Ring, Amazon’s home surveillance company, is teaching police how to convince residents to share camera footage with them. When police partner with Ring, Amazon’s home surveillance camera company, they get access to the “Law Enforcement Neighborhood Portal,†an interactive map that allows officers to request footage directly from camera owners. Police don’t need a warrant to request this footage, but they do need permission from camera owners.Emails and documents obtained by Motherboard reveal that people aren’t always willing to provide police with their Ring camera footage. However, Ring works with law enforcement and gives them advice on how to persuade people to...

The liberal media is the arm of the Democratic Party and its agenda. That’s no secret, but if they think they can get away with what they’re doing with the Dayton shooting—they’re arrogance (or stupidity) has reached unprecedented levels. I mean there have been pretty explicit examples, but they there have been consistent ‘hold my beer’ moments, as the various arms of this corrupt enterprise seem to out-do one another in displaying said bias. In less than 24 hours, we had two brutal mass shootings. In all, 31 people have been killed and scores more injured. In El Paso, Texas, and...

In their first head-to-head encounter in what is shaping up to be an ugly race, the two candidates for Kentucky’s attorney general used their Fancy Farm political speeches Saturday to add more accusations and insults to it. Republican Daniel Cameron, a Louisville attorney who was making his first speech at the annual political picnic in Graves County that kicks off the fall’s campaign season, said his Democratic challenger, former attorney general and House speaker Greg Stumbo of Floyd County, represents the “old, Frankfort liberal guard.” He said Stumbo, who turns 68 Aug. 14, is like milk in a refrigerator for...

Trump just blamed the El Paso shooting victims for their own deaths He endorsed the racist manifesto’s worldview when he tied gun reform to immigration reform. Over the weekend, a white man with a semiautomatic rifle went on a shooting rampage at an El Paso Walmart, killing 22 people. President Trump, who averred that we cannot let the victims “die in vain,” offered an idea for how to prevent future shootings: “Republicans and Democrats must come together and get strong background checks, perhaps marrying this legislation with desperately needed immigration reform. We must have something good, if not GREAT, come...
