Russia’s Foreign Ministry will submit official notifications to Washington and Berlin over interference of their diplomats and the state-run media in Russia’s politics via covering unsanctioned rallies in Moscow on August 3, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a televised interview with Rossiya’1 channel on Sunday. "As you know, nothing can be rubbed out on the internet. Unconditionally, we will officially submit all the files to the US embassy in Moscow, and not just to the embassy. I think that the US leadership will be much surprised at how their diplomats meddle with Russian internal affairs," Zakharova said...

Former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and his Republican caucus to help Democrats pass gun legislation the Democratic-controlled House approved in February. "With two mass shootings in America in less than 24 hours, thoughts and prayers are not enough. We need action," Clinton tweeted Sunday after a deadly shooting in Dayton, Ohio, killed at least nine people. **SNIP** The bill would require universal background checks for all gun sales and transfers. It passed about six months ago with overwhelming Democratic support, and some support from House Republicans.

FULL TITLE: 'If you look at both of these cases, this is mental illness': Trump blames El Paso and Dayton mass shootings on mental health of the gunmen - and promises additional action on Monday Donald Trump said Sunday 'more has to be done' to prevent mass shootings. In his first public statement since two mass shooting rocked El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, over the weekend, the president pledged to take action, saying, 'Hate has no place in our country, and we're going to take care of it.' Trump told a small group of reporters that 'a lot of...

A Colorado woman was arrested after allegedly stealing a dog from a man who suffered a seizure and who ultimately died. Melody Mellon, 30, was at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Longmont, a city roughly 35 miles north of Denver, on Tuesday when a 59-year-old Robert Corbey — who had been feeling ill that day — suffered a seizure. Paramedics responded and attempted to save his life, but Corbey was pronounced dead at a hospital, KDVR reported, citing the Longmont Police Department. During this time, Mellon allegedly took the dog, named "Sampson," and fled. The next day, Longmont Deputy Police...

The Ohio gunman described himself on social media as a pro-Satan “leftist” who wanted Joe Biden’s generation to die off, hated President Trump and law enforcement, and hoped to vote for Sen. Elizabeth Warren for president. In the early hours of Sunday morning, rifle-wielding Connor Betts rampaged through a Dayton entertainment district, killing his sister and eight other people and leaving dozens of others wounded before police killed him. “I want socialism, and i’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding,” he wrote in one tweet, according to Heavy.com. The breaking-news outlet said it had found...

On another terrible day, I hate to introduce even more pessimism, but when we discuss mass shootings, one of the first questions we ask is the simplest and also the hardest to answer. Why? Why does this keep happening? Those who advocate for gun control have an immediate answer — the prevalence of guns in the United States. Yet guns have been part of the fabric of American life for the entire history of our republic. Mass shootings — especially the most deadly mass shootings — are a far more recent phenomenon. Writing in 2015, Malcolm Gladwell wrote what I...

President Trump has left his mark on North Korea. Literally. In June, North Korea released a set of stamps commemorating the one-year anniversary of the Singapore summit, when Trump met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in an attempt to de-escalate tensions between the two countries, as well as to nudge North Korea toward the process of denuclearization. The stamps, which were originally reported by Kyodo News, are reportedly on sale in Pyongyang and show things like Trump and Kim shaking hands or the two leaders signing a joint agreement after the meeting. The stamps were apparently a hit,...

Politics in the nation’s capital these days is like a dirty prize fight. In this corner, the Democrats. In this corner, the Republicans. Hitting below the belt, eye-gouging, rabbit punches, biting, scratching and hitting after the bell will all be allowed. There is no round limit, and the result – nobody wins. I watched the last Democrat debate and learned four things: 1. They all despise President Trump. 2. Socialism is alive and well in the Democratic Party. 3. They all think the way to the White House is big government and out-promising the other candidates. 4. They’ve all got...

On the same weekend were 29 people were killed in two separate mass shootings in Texas and Ohio, the city of Chicago is reeling after 25 people were shot in several incidents over a four-hour span early Sunday morning. The first shooting, which took place at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Sunday morning, sent a total of seven people to local hospitals. (snip) During the shooting, an unknown gunman in a black Camaro drove by a group of people congregating near a playground in the city’s Douglas Park neighborhood and opened fire. Several people in the group returned fire at the...

As expected, Democrats immediately began politicizing the shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. Quite a few of them even blamed Trump. Like clockwork, calls for more gun control have commenced. Democrats are even trying to pressure Mitch McConnell to cancel the Senate recess so they can vote on gun control. A common myth you can expect to hear a lot in the coming days and weeks is that the United States “leads the world in mass shootings” and therefore we must pass some law that will do nothing to stop future mass shootings, but will infringe on the...

Sightings of great whites off the shores of Cape Cod are a daily occurrence: Since June 1 the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s sharktivity app indicates there have been more than 160. “When we are lucky enough to actually get eyes on a shark, it really is no surprise,” said Nate Sears, natural resources manager for the town of Orleans, an area whose beaches have already been closed 12 times since mid-June due to confirmed shark sightings.

The progressive brain trust over at Vox.com posted a rather long article that was one of the more honest leftist anti-gun pieces I've read in a while and illustrates precisely why law-abiding gun owners are so distrustful of the anti-Second Amendment crowd. It's the main points of those paragraphs that always bring me to my main problems with the Democrats' lust for "sweeping gun legislation" in whatever form they propose. The first is the number of guns issue. We have always had a lot of guns here in the United States. The proximity/availability argument from the left has always been...

Bill Maher warned Democrats this week that they are "blowing" their chance to beat President Trump in 2020 by "coming across as unserious people who are going to take away all your money so migrants from Honduras can go to college for free and get a major in 'America sucks.'"

Two years ago, policewoman Amelia Bannan from Argentina was riding in a police car when a crash left her with serious head trauma and a blood clot in her brain, The Sun reported. Bannan was almost six months pregnant at the time. But the expecting mother was the worse for wear in a coma. Little did the family know that coma wouldn’t end for months. Her baby, Santino, was delivered on Christmas Eve, weighing just over 4 pounds. The family took care of the newborn for 3 more months while visiting Santino’s mom every day. Despite Amelia’s traumatic injuries, the...

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) National Convention in Georgia this weekend came to a screeching halt when one delegate formally complained of "sensory overload" from "guys" whispering in the room -- prompting another "comrade" to grab the microphone to angrily demand an immediate end to the use of "gendered language." The back-to-back moments of impassioned hypersensitivity at the gathering of the largest socialist organization in the United States led to bipartisan mockery from commentators, who compared the scene to something out of the sitcom "The Office." "Uh, quick point of personal privilege, um guys," began one delegate, who identified...

...Moments before the El Paso shooting on Saturday, a four-page message whose author identified himself as the gunman appeared on 8chan. The person who posted the message encouraged his “brothers” on the site to spread the contents far and wide. In recent months, 8chan has become a go-to resource for violent extremists. At least three mass shootings this year — including the mosque killings in Christchurch, New Zealand, and the synagogue shooting in Poway, Calif. — have been announced in advance on the site, often accompanied by racist writings that seem engineered to go viral on the internet.... Mr. Brennan...

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore) personally aided the illegal entry of a pregnant immigrant "so she can have her anchor baby in the United States, as is her right." Wyden called international boundaries "unnatural impediments to the free migration of people and wildlife. It is everyone's human right to live wherever they wish. It is our obligation to admit them and provide them with everything they need to enjoy the kind of life they desire. This includes free health care, food, housing, and spending money for the extras—cell phones, high-def cable TV, vacations, fashionable clothing—that make life more enjoyable." The Senator...

“American men are failing in body, in mind and in spirit. This is a crisis..." ~ Tucker Carlson Young women are surpassing men in virtually every area of life. Girls avoid drugs more than boys, play less video games, get better grades, perform better on iq tests, and attend prestigious colleges at a higher rate than boys. The average American woman is likely to live five years longer than the average American man. Men are twice as likely to die of drug overdoses and more than twice as likely to be addicted to alcohol. More than 90 percent of people...
