During the eighth inning of the Dodgers 8-5 road loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks, a young woman ran out into the outfield and attempted to hug the 23-year-old former National League Rookie of the Year. Cell phone video showed her reaching Bellinger before security got there and escorted her from the field. “I had a feeling she was harmless…but it could potentially get dangerous, especially if it keeps getting blown up like it is,” Bellinger said. During the ninth inning of Sunday’s game against the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium, a 14-year-old girl attempted to get a hug from Bellinger...

FALLS, Pa. — A Pennsylvania woman used a shovel to kill a cobra she saw slithering on the patio of her apartment. Kathy Kehoe says the squawking of some blue jays outside her unit caught her attention Monday. When she looked outside, she saw a 4 to 5-foot-long serpent. Kehoe, 73, says she noticed the lateral spot commonly found on cobras and nudged its tail. When it rose and spread its hood, she realized it was a cobra. Her apartment complex in Falls, Wyoming County, just northwest of Scranton, is the same one where officials removed 20 venomous snakes from...

It's bad enough that illegal aliens get in-state tuition and in some cases, free tuition to schools, a privilege my American born children were never offered. It's bad enough that the TSA allows illegal aliens to fly without proper ID. Now democrats add another insult to Americans- illegals are free not only to break into the country, but to violate US laws at will. The Communist Bernie Sanders says It Is Not “Appropriate” To Deport Illegal Immigrants Not Following Law In The US https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJGQIeTEDT0Our addle-brained Speaker of the House feels the same way. Mind you, these are illegals who already...

Austin Mikel Clay is expected to be arraigned today on one felony count each of grand theft of property valued at more than $950 and vandalism causing more than $400 in damage, according to reports. According to Los Angeles police, Clay allegedly scaled the Hollywood Gateway landmark, cut off the Marilyn Monroe “weather pane” from the top, and fled the scene with it. The sculpture was believed to be put into a white bag with a black star on it, while the equipment to cut off the sculpture was kept in a black backpack. A second, still unidentified, suspect was...

Our current state of counterterrorism is such that Robert Spencer, Steven Emerson, Patrick Poole, Dave Reaboi, John Rossomando, Stephen Coughlin, or Philip Haney would be extremely unlikely to be invited as experts on terrorism. The wife of the Ground Zero Mosque Imam though? Sure. Come on down and tell us that ISIS supporters don't understand Islam. ... why is the defense bringing in Khan to testify as to whether an ISIS supporter properly understands Islam? Is this really about helping the defendant or about allowing Khan to promote a particular narrative?

Two women in South Carolina mistakenly got into a car over the weekend they believed was an Uber only to be driven down a dirt road by a man police have yet to locate. Early Friday morning, two women were waiting outside a Hilton Head Island restaurant in Reilley’s Plaza when a dark-colored SUV pulled up. According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, the pair had called an Uber to take them back to their vacation rental and believed that the car that approached them was at least a driver for the ride-sharing app. “Although the women were aware that...

The college debt “crisis” is a moral question, but it is the opposite of what Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, AOC, and most of the Democratic presidential field are claiming. An individual forgiving a debt they voluntarily entered into with a friend or family is noble and Christian and laudable. This sort of debt forgiveness happens routinely. I’ve done it. I’ve had it done. Government eliminating debt is immoral. Here’s why. If I loan someone money, and for whatever reason I choose to forgive that debt, that is my right and it is supported in the Bible. It is certainly part...

I’ve heard it said that the truth will set you free. Assuming that’s the case, Speaker Nancy Pelosi must be feeling particularly light and free this week. In a rather candid set of remarks captured on video, Pelosi was asked a question about the now-delayed set of ICE raids in a dozen cities around the country. Her response certainly smacks of the truth, even if she didn’t intend to say it. Talking about illegal aliens who are already loose inside the United States and who presumably haven’t committed other, more serious crimes, she said that she didn’t “see the point”...

In dueling campaign rallies, former Vice President Joe Biden and President Trump made their argument to voters in Iowa. Biden joined his Democratic opponents in calling for higher capital gains taxes to pay for his pet programs. Democrats are racing to the left in a desperate attempt to mollify their radicalized base. Almost every 2020 Democratic presidential candidate is abandoning capitalism. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., who has said she is a "capitalist to my bones," sings the same chorus with her massive wealth tax plan. Her campaign estimates that it would cost the American people $3 trillion over 10 years....

A couple in Florida was arrested on Monday after their toddler was discovered alone, wearing only a dirty diaper along a busy highway, according to police. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. in Oak Hill, located north of Titusville. A woman reported she was traveling south on U.S. 1 when she noticed a toddler trying to cross the road in front of her. She said she stopped her vehicle to prevent any other cars from hitting him. "When I first saw him, he was looking confused," the woman, Erica Strozier, told FOX35...

South Bend’s police union is not happy with Mayor Pete’s handling of an officer-involved shooting. Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #36 issued a press release Monday explaining its reaction to the recent events involving one of their own members. The union has more than 350 members. They say that Pete Buttigieg is using a tragedy for political gain, namely in his presidential campaign. SEE ALSO: Trump on rape accuser: She’s not my type The press release expresses support for Sgt. Ryan O’Neill, the officer involved in the shooting of Eric Logan, a knife-wielding man. VIDEO The left is so completely obsessed with Donald Trump that he OWNS their minds. They can't stop thinking about him to the extent that he completely dominates their very existence which means that he has WON. This video also examines why I think that Trump obsession will lead to the destruction of the Democrat party after nearly 200 years of existence.

“‘Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it’” (Matthew 7:13–14). Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount has been heading toward the appeal found in these two verses. Here is His call to people to make a decision about becoming a citizen of God’s kingdom and inheriting eternal life, or remaining a citizen of this fallen world and receiving damnation. Every person...

As children we played games drawn from the scenario of war. When a friend approached we pretended that we were sentries. The dialogue was simple: “Halt! Who goes there? Friend or foe?” Our categories left no room for indifferent neutrality. They were restricted to two options, friend or enemy. Those are the only options we have in our relationship with God. No one is neutral. We are either God’s friends or God’s enemies. Jonathan Edwards once preached a sermon titled, “Man, Naturally God’s Enemies.” In this sermon Edwards declared: “Men, in general, will own that they are sinners. There are...

John Harrison, grandson of former president William Henry Harrison, went to the Medical College of Ohio searching for the body of a friend which had been stolen from its grave. What he found there shocked the nation, and drove a national discussion of the macabre practice of body snatching.

The American Conservative Editor Jim Antle writes, "Thursday night was the night Donald Trump became president. You can imagine the hyperbolic hosannahs that would have been sung if Trump had gone ahead with his planned strikes against Iran, adding to the list of undeclared presidential wars. Instead he pulled back." “Hyperbolic hosannahs,” indeed. Who might have led this pro-war chorus? Conservative pundits Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin. When President Trump decided not to strike after being informed it could potentially kill 150 civilians, he explained on Twitter, “10 minutes before the strike I stopped it, not ... proportionate to shooting...

A new report from the International Rescue Committee, a global non-profit organization, finds that the number of refugees entering the country is at an "historic low." This is also the case for states like Idaho, where the number of refugees resettled each month is about half of what it was in 2016, according to the International Rescue Committee. In the 2016 fiscal year, Idaho resettled an average of 67 refugees each month. So far this year, the average is 33 per month. Zeze Rwasama, the director of the Refugee Center at the College of Southern Idaho, says the numbers outlined...

The problem with our lefty friends is that they don't really want to have what they call a "conversation." Their idea of conversation is for highly trained activists to ram their morality down our throats and then demand we say thank-you. Right now they are sticking it to us over the question of reparations and concentration camps. So when Democrats rile up their black base with demands for reparations -- that’s loot and plunder to ordinary deplorables -- and when Mean Girl of the Month AOC talks idly about “concentration camps,” well, all they are doing is trolling for votes....

Even if you’ve never heard the phrase “dark patterns,” you’re almost certainly familiar with them. They’re the sneaky ways online companies trick you into agreeing to stuff you’d normally never assent to. Classic example: You encounter a prompt asking if you want to sign up for some program or service, and the box is already checked. If you don’t uncheck it — that is, if you do nothing — you’re enrolled. A bipartisan bill has been introduced in Congress that would prohibit websites and online platforms (hi, Facebook!) from employing such deliberately deceptive tactics, and would empower the Federal Trade...
