I would argue that it is their collective memory of the century of humiliation by foreign powers that began with the First Opium War (1839-1842), a period of unforgettable injury to national pride best captured in that infamous sign...

When the proverbial 'they' start confiscating firearms - what type of guns would you be more willing to relinquish? (any red blooded American the obvious answer is none) But for a thought experiment. - Handguns, AR-15(and similar firearms), or shotguns? Since I understand the 2nd Amendment to mostly be addressing citizens defending themselves from tyranny, I lean toward handguns. Note I say this as a CCW holder who carries legally and in legal places in my state all the time. I find it interesting the NPCs (programmed for tyranny) want to rid the US of AR's - which are involved...

Dispensationalists don’t believe that Jesus is reigning now as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. They think his reign only happens in a literal thousand-year millennium sometime in the future. They think that Satan is ruling the world now. This seems like an astounding conclusion for any professing Christian, and a horrendous insult to our Lord—especially since the Bible teaches that Jesus is indeed reigning NOW as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Here are some Bible verses: “For us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder,...

Speaking at a weekly news conference in Moscow, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova offered a tribute to those who died on the western front of...

Congressman Jeff Van Drew last week called for Congress to move on from investigations around the Mueller Report and talk of impeaching President Donald Trump, and begin doing the nation’s business. There will be an election in 18 months, he said, and until then Congress needs to focus on issues both parties can work together to address. “But what I am done with, barring any new evidence, is any talk of impeachment, investigations, or divisive, unproductive politics,” Van Drew said in a written statement. “It is time to move forward.”
