The Justice Department has revealed the name of a former U.S. attorney accused of misconduct after Buzzfeed News successfully sued for disclosure of his identity. The Justice Department announced in May 2017 that the since-retired attorney had an affair with a subordinate, created a hostile work environment and possibly violated department policy on sexual harassment. A federal judge ruled in March that public interest superseded government officials’ right to privacy, forcing the Justice Department to disclose last week the attorney in question was Stephen Wigginton, who served as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois from 2010 to 2015....

Message from Fox News to the Caravan of Crazies running for DNC approval in the 2020 presidential election race: Come and Bring Your Standing Ovation Surrogates With You To Our Town Halls Because Fox News Is On YOUR Side. Fox is forgetting that We the People know that they brought in former DNC chairman Donna Brazile as a featured political pundit at the beginning of the 2020 presidential race. Brazile, who admitted she leaked questions for the last 2016 presidential debate to Hillary Clinton is now a Fox News political pundit. And it is for sure that the Town Hall...

SWARTHMORE, Pa. (CBS) – As the abortion battle rages on across the United States, a church in Delaware County was targeted by vandals who tagged it with abortion rights graffiti and more Sunday. Heading into church for Sunday mass, parishioners at Notre Dame de Lourdes parish in Swarthmore were met with black spray paint that said, “You do not have the right to decide how others lives.” “It was very shocking to come up to the church and see that,” Jessica Prince told CBS3. “I’d have to say the first half of mass was me crying the whole time because...

Actor Jim Carrey's latest tweet took a shot at Alabama's new abortion law, but it seemed to backfire, drawing praise from pro-lifers instead. The "Dumb and Dumber" star tweeted an image Saturday of his artwork depicting Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, who signed one of the strictest anti-abortion laws in the nation, as a fully formed preborn baby being aborted from the womb. "I think If (sic) you're going to terminate a pregnancy, it should be done sometime before the fetus becomes Governor of Alabama," Carrey wrote. The politically charged depiction garnered some unlikely responses from the right. "Thank you for...

ROYAL OAK, Mich. — Frank Houston knows something about the longtime estrangement of white men from the Democratic Party. His family roots are in nearby Macomb County, the symbolic home of working-class Reagan Democrats who, distressed by economic and social tumult, decided a liberal Democratic Party had left them, not the other way around. Mr. Houston grew up in the 1980s liking Ronald Reagan but idolizing Alex P. Keaton, the fictional Republican teenage son of former hippies who, played by Michael J. Fox on the television series “Family Ties,” comically captured the nation’s conservative shift. But over time, Mr. Houston...

Fox News contributor Dan Bongino believes Rep. Justin Amash should leave the Republican Party after the libertarian lawmaker said President Trump engaged in "impeachable" conduct. Amash, R-Mich., became the first Republican to publicly accuse Trump of engaging in “impeachable conduct” stemming from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's lengthy investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. "Contrary to [Attorney General William] Barr’s portrayal, Mueller’s report reveals that President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment," Amash tweeted, drawing a stinging rebuke from the president. His comments drew a strong rebuke from...

To listen to media pundits, President Trump has created the trade-war crises with China. They say he is economically illiterate. Or he’s a dolt. Or he’s a xenophobe. Or a jingoist. And his impetuous actions are “roiling” markets and making businesses nervous and could tank the economy. It’s all Trump’s fault. This is not just wrong, it is 180 degrees wrong and demonstrably so. In fact, Trump is the only American leader actually trying to right a substantial wrong. The truth is that the China problem has been ignored or avoided by multiple presidents and Congresses from both parties, and...

Pete Buttigieg is seeking the democrat nomination for President of the United States. The more he speaks the more dangerous he appears. He has a number of policy positions that can be positively frightening. He seeks to dismantle America one piece at a time. Buttigieg would erase Thomas Jefferson from history: Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg said Friday that things named after President Thomas Jefferson should be renamed because that’s the “right thing to do.”Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Ind., who became the rising star of the 2020 Democratic primary, echoed the far-left calls to rename buildings or events that carry the...

*** Maxsa, which manufactures many of its products in China, had to start paying 25 percent more to import some goods after the United States introduced tariffs on Chinese-made products last summer. Faced with higher costs, Maxsa says it managed to persuade several small U.S. retailers to pay roughly 20 percent more for the company’s wares. But its biggest customer, Amazon, drove a much harder bargain. Amazon, which buys products from Maxsa and then sells them to consumers, initially rejected Maxsa’s attempt to charge more for a laser-guided parking aid called Park Right, forcing Maxsa to cut off sales to...

Under continuing investigation by Attorney General William Barr for his “strange” decisions and actions regarding the Trump candidacy and presidency, former FBI Director James Comey cited “my earlier communist ideology for providing a steady ethical weather vane to guide me toward doing the right thing.” Comey dismissed contentions that federal law enforcement officials should not interfere in political matters as “bourgeois delusion. The higher duty is to the collective well-being of mankind. Sometimes following the law fulfills this duty. At other times going beyond the bounds of the law may be required in order to achieve this duty. The clear...

NASA astronaut Anne McClain performs the first series of tests of an Astrobee robot, Bumble, during a hardware checkout. To her right is the docking station that was installed in the Kibo module on the International Space Station on Feb. 15. Bumble, and another robot named Honey, launched to the space station on Apr. 17, aboard Northrop Grumman’s eleventh commercial resupply services mission from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. Like most people who are extremely cool, I'm a huge Jeopardy! fan and have been in awe of the recent dominant run by James Holzhauer. The 34-year-old professional sports gambler has piled up $1.7 million in just 22 games, through a combination of remarkable knowledge, fast buzzing, and lucrative betting. He's averaging more than $76,000 per game. To give an idea of how impressive that is, when current winnings record-holder Ken Jennings set the one-day record in 2004, he won just over $75,000. Like former champ Arthur Chu, Holzhauer doesn't select dollar amount answers in neat rows, but rather he...

BRIDGETON, Mo. - A Taco Bell employee in Missouri lost her job after a video depicting a profanity-laced tirade against Muslims went viral, KTVI reported. The May 14 incident took place around 1 a.m. in the drive-thru at the fast-food restaurant in Bridgeton, the television station reported. According to a tweet by Tarek Hamdan, who recorded the exchange, he had a “25-minute debate” with a worker who insisted “all Muslims are terrorists. “It’s not what you think and what you see in the news,” Hamdan tells the worker in the video. We don’t follow those people. Those people are monsters....

Catholic Establishment Attacks Matteo Salvini for Invoking God ROME — A number of prominent progressive Catholics assailed Italy’s interior minister Matteo Salvini on Saturday for invoking God at a massive populist, pro-sovereignty rally in Milan. At one point during the rally at the Piazza del Duomo, Salvini, a practicing Catholic, took up a rosary in his hand and said he was entrusting the European elections to the Blessed Virgin Mary, which earned him the wrath of Catholic groups that have already compared Salvini to the anti-Christ.In a tweet that same day, Salvini wrote: “I entrust Italy and my life to...
