ABC News assembled this informational video to mark the date (3-14) that represents Alfred Einstein’s birthday and the first 3 digits of an infinite number:The accompanying article chronicles the saga of the Indiana amateur mathematician who once convinced the Indiana legislature to introduce a bill defining pi as 3.2. It nearly passed. While an interesting story of the lack of mathematical knowledge - even a century ago - the comments on the article prove even more enlightening. As of this morning Every. Single. Climate alarmists constantly warn us that man-made global warming is making our world less habitable and that climate doomsday is fast approaching. But a closer look at our climate reveals a surprising climate discovery that our mainstream media have conveniently ignored for decades: the role of the sun in determining Earth's climate. For the first time in humanity's history, our leaders could be actively devising policies — based on their defiant and biased obsession with global warming — that will render us highly vulnerable to even the slightest cooling in our climatic system. "We are causing irreversible damage to our...

FULL TITLE: ICE Union: ‘Thousands of Illegal Aliens Are Being Released into U.S.’ with ‘Catch and Release in Overdrive’ The National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Council says agents are being “overwhelmed” by mass, unchecked illegal immigration to the United States. In a letter to President Trump this week, the ICE union wrote that the Catch and Release program — whereby border crossers and illegal aliens are swiftly released into the interior of the U.S. after being detained — is in “overdrive,” as agents are forced to release illegal aliens en masse to make space for new border crossers who,...

Friday’s release of a transcript of Bruce Ohr’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee revealed several new tidbits. It also raised serious concerns that fake claims of collusion pushed by Glenn Simpson and Democratic opposition research shop Fusion GPS prompted the launch of not one, but two federal investigations: the Russia collusion investigation and investigations into the National Rifle Association (NRA). During his day-long testimony last August, Ohr, then an associate deputy attorney general, explained his involvement—or non-involvement, if he is to be believed—in the Russia-collusion investigation. Ohr testified that he knew former MI6 spy and dossier author Christopher Steele...

Tallahassee, Fla. - (The News Service of Florida) A proposal that would require Florida public universities to survey faculty members and students about their personal viewpoints was approved Wednesday by a House panel, with Democrats concerned about what lawmakers would do with the results. House Higher Education & Career Readiness Chairman Cord Byrd, R-Neptune Beach, said the survey is necessary because of concerns about indoctrination in the university system. Byrd said a number of students have shared with him experiences in which they did not feel comfortable expressing political views in the classroom out of fear that their grades would...

Lori Loughlin has just committed career suicide. Her alleged involvement in the seamy Varsity Blues college admissions criminal scandal has forever tarnished her reputation as the folksy face of Hallmark Channel and its vanilla-sweet TV movie franchises “When Calls the Heart” and “Garage Sale Mystery.” She’s been a cash cow for the cable network with her top-rated movies, but she’s on notice now. Don’t be shocked when Hallmark Channel casts her aside, dealing a death blow to Loughlin’s career. Her fall from grace sounds like the plot of a weepy Hallmark Channel movie that no one would believe, but it’s...

On Monday, tech website Recode published an interview conducted by YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki with Recode's co-founder Kara Swisher, who bemoaned that her 13-year-old son had started watching Ben Shapiro videos, claimed watching the videos was a "gateway drug" to eventually watching Neo-Nazi videos, and said she would remove Shapiro's video’s from YouTube if she could. That prompted Shapiro to fire back on Twitter, "It seems rather illiberal of you to ask YouTube to ban my videos."

Scantily clad girls baring their breasts for strings of beads, sunburnt boys chugging cans of beers through bongs and clouds of vape smoke hanging over the formerly pristine sand: this is March in South Padre Island. Spring Break sees the sleepy island community of just over 5,000 people transformed as an estimated 100,000 college kids descend for long days of boozing on the beach. For businesses and the city itself, the influx means a bumper payday with students spending $3.1 million on alcohol alone last year and providing South Padre with an overall windfall of $33.9 million. But DailyMail.com can...

YOKOSUKA, KANAGAWA PREF. - Journalists on Wednesday were given a guided tour of the Izumo — Japan’s largest flat-topped helicopter carrier — for the first time since the Defense Ministry revealed a controversial plan late last year to convert it so that it could handle fixed-wing aircraft — which critics and some opposition lawmakers say could make it capable of offensive operations. The pacifist postwar Constitution bans the possession of “attack aircraft carriers,” and calls for an exclusively defense-oriented posture. However, under a five-year defense build-up plan adopted in December, the 248-meter, 195,000-ton vessel will be undergoing a major remodeling...

Her younger sister, YouTube star Olivia Jade, has not been seen since the news emerged that her mother and father, Mossimo Giannulli, were facing charges along with dozens of other wealthy parents. Some Minnesota Democrats, aghast at controversial comments made by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D), are taking initial steps to recruit a candidate to run against her in next year’s primary election, seeking to buck history in one of the nation’s most progressive legislative districts. Several party leaders said they have had discussions about finding a candidate to take on Omar, just two months into her first term in Congress. But even those who were deeply offended by Omar’s comments about Israel concede they have not yet found anyone to challenge her. “There’s definitely some buzz going around about it, but it’s...

“‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God’” (Matthew 5:9). Continuing from yesterday, let’s look at two more characteristics of peacemakers. First, a peacemaker helps others make peace with others. Once you see your duty as a peacemaker in the world, you’ll be looking for ways to build bridges between people and God and then to build them between persons. By definition, a bridge can’t be one-sided. It must extend between two sides or it can never function. And once built, it continues to need support on both sides or it will collapse. In any relationship...
