What will Republicans do? If illegals get the right to vote; and Florida and Texas start turning color; and millennials want to play with the fire of socialism; and the democrats make overtures to the Rust Belt; and ballot harvesting continues... then these are legitimate problems for the Republicans. Again, what will they do? You can only pray that the democrats are too divided and too caught up with Trump derangement so that they are ineffective in capitalizing on these advantages. But it would be a good step for Republicans to start to address these problems. For example, what are...

Ms Ocasio-Cortez made the comment during an interview at South by Southwest in Austin, where she said that the US should be “scared” that corporations had taken over the country. “Capitalism is an ideology of capital — the most important thing is the concentration of capital and to seek and maximise profit,” Ms Ocasio-Cortez said during a question and answer session with Bloomberg News. She continued: ”To me, capitalism is irredeemable.” Ms Ocasio-Cortez has described herself as a democratic socialist, and said during the panel that recent concerns raised among conservative pundits around “socialism” misses the point. “Just as there’s...

Minnesota police know a thing or two about snow, and they’d like you to know you should clean it off your car before you hit the road or it hits another vehicle. The Minnesota State Patrol tweeted a photo of a car that got pulled over recently for being almost entirely covered in snow, save for a small square of the windshield in front of the driver and the driver’s door window. “Don’t be this person when it snows. Please. Please. Please. A trooper stopped this car Feb. 14 in Elk River. Yes, they were cited. Sure, maybe the snow...

Speaking at SXSW over the weekend, Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez voiced her view that people shouldn't be worried that automation might be about to wipe out their jobs. It's an unusual take, because the perceived wisdom is that rising automation will adversely impact both blue- and white-collar jobs, laying waste to factory workers, lawyers, and anyone else who does repetitive work that could easily be automated. The thinking goes that these people will either need swift retraining or will need to survive on government handouts. Meanwhile, the moguls who actually own the robots will accumulate wealth by laying off expensive...

We also see ABC News senior correspondent Terry Moran emphatically declare that it would be YUUUUUGE news if no Trump-Russia collusion is found in the report and how there would be a big reckoning for both the Democrats and the mainstream media.

A dark money group based in California contributed $2 million to The Democracy Integrity Project, the organization that has contracted with Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele to investigate President Donald Trump. The Democracy Integrity Project’s founder, a former staffer for Sen. Dianne Feinstein, has acknowledged to the FBI that the group provides information to the press, lawmakers and investigators. Fund for a Better Future is the second Democracy Integrity Project donor to have been identified. George Soros gave $1 million to the group. A dark money group with links to several high-profile liberal activists contributed $2 million to The Democracy...

The 268-page Bruce Ohr interview transcript provides some clarity, some comfort, but also more concerns over the handling of the Russia investigation. On Friday, Georgia Rep. Doug Collins, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, released the transcript of the House’s August 2018 interview of Department of Justice lawyer Bruce Ohr. Ohr’s name is familiar to those following the Spygate scandal: His wife, Nellie Ohr, worked for opposition research and dissemination firm Fusion GPS. The couple also met with former British spy Christopher Steele the day before the FBI launched the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into the Donald Trump presidential...

Far-left NBC News covered up its own findings about the effect Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) antisemitic remarks are having in her own home district. Desperate to craft a puff-piece to protect Omar and the Democrat Party, NBC published the following headline Sunday night: “Far from Washington, Rep. Omar’s constituents see the Israel controversy in a different light.” The story opens with this Pablum: “Rep. Ilhan Omar’s comments about Israel have consumed Washington. But here in Minnesota’s diverse 5th Congressional District, a pillar of progressivism that handed Omar a decisive victory in November’s midterm elections, there has been far less outrage.”

With all the noise surrounding the Democrats’ crowded presidential field, it’s easy to overlook that the Clintons are gone from the scene. The Clinton era began with a largely unknown Bill Clinton giving a disastrously overlong speech at the 1988 Democratic National Convention. It ended quietly last week with Hillary Clinton telling the world that she was not running again. In between, the Clintons built and stoked a nationwide network of labor and business figures, minorities and women that was as loyal as any political machine. They weren’t just the face of the party — they were also behind-the-scenes power...

A Southern historian described President Trump signing the Bible during his visit to tornado-torn Alabama as “right next to sacrilege.” “I’d never sign someone else’s Bible,” Wayne Flynt, an Auburn University professor emeritus told AL.com. “That’s right next to sacrilege. That’s a holy book.” Joe Biden’s former chief of staff, Ron Klain, also criticized the president.

Washington governor and 2020 candidate Jay Inslee (D.) said on Sunday he thinks he has humility about being a straight white male, saying he recognizes the advantages he's received as a result of that identity. "Our new CNN/Des Moines Register poll shows only 38 percent of likely Democratic caucus-goers in Iowa say they would be satisfied with a straight white male nominee," CNN anchor Jake Tapper said. "So why are you as a straight white male the right person to lead the Democratic party if there's so much skepticism from Democrats in Iowa?"

[…]Barr told the magazine of Obama’s alleged involvement. “That’s what I was told and I tend to believe it because the woman who fired me is now working with the Obamas at Netflix.”(snip) Barr added that her tweet—which she concedes was a “very stupid thing” — was intended to be an attack on the Obama administration’s ties to Iran, which she sees as anti-Semitic. She also cited unsubstantiated claims that the Iran-born Jarrett may be Muslim. “I should have written it backwards,” she said. “It came out dyslexic. It should have been, ‘Valerie Jarrett’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood have...

AFP reported Friday that the jihadists straggling out of the last stronghold of the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria remain defiant, still vowing to murder Americans. In fact, this has been their longstanding plan, as revealed in a guide to destroying the United States that the jihad group published in its heyday, back in 2015. The AFP report quoted one woman leaving the tiny remaining ISIS domain declaring, “The caliphate will not end, because it has been ingrained in the hearts and brains of the newborns and the little ones.” Another exclaimed: “We have left, but there will be new...

Hillary Clinton's Arkansas law license has been reinstated after 17 years of suspension. No word as yet on the significance of that. A recent routine notice of reinstatements and suspensions by the Arkansas Continuing Legal Education Board said Clinton was one of several lawyers reinstated by the board at a meeting March 4 after payment of a reinstatement fee. Another familiar name on the list was that of Rodney Slater, Transportation secretary during the Clinton administration. He was reinstated March 5. Clinton's license was suspended in March 2002 for failure to complete continuing education requirements. Having been admitted to the...
