Top Democrats knocked Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Thursday for refusing to bring up a House election reform bill for a vote. Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) called the GOP leader’s remarks on the legislation, known as H.R. 1, “an act of desperation" while Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) called him "out of touch." "McConnell called these ideas a power grab, labeling the bill the 'Democratic [Politician] Protection Act,' " Schumer said from the Senate floor. "Leader McConnell, we’re proud we want more people to vote. Why are you ashamed of it? Why do you run away from...

Washington Post gives Hillary Clinton four Pinocchios for saying “… in Wisconsin, where the best studies that have been done said somewhere between 40 and 80,000 people were turned away from the polls because of the color of their skin…†Hillary Clinton is not a stupid person. However, much of the audience that she targets is stupid, which is why she recently, knowingly said the following lie:“I was the first person who ran for president without the protection of the Voting Rights Act, and I will tell you, it makes a really big difference. And it doesn’t just make a difference...

Oh dear. I'd placed an online pickup order through GrubHub for El Charro Mexican restaurant at 933 Fairlawn Ave in Laurel, MD. When I arrived, apparently no one at the place spoke English. The nice lady who greeted me smiled, picked up a menu, and proceeded to take me to a booth. I said "No, online order for pickup". "OK" she smiled and pointed to the booth, as if to ask me whether this we a good spot. I said again, "Online order for pickup". She repeated the "OK" and placed the menu on the booth's table. I realized I...

Ripped from today's headlines. Literally. I used to work with a guy who, when he heard about a new concept, said (when he wasn't deriding it) "Let's think about that." Then about a week later he'd say "I have this great idea." Just like the NY Times. After beating on Donald Trump for weeks screaming that there is no border emergency, the NY Times does a 180 and declares that there really is an emergency at the border: Border at ‘Breaking Point’ as More than 76,000 Migrants Cross in a Month For the fourth time in five months, the number...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—As the nation’s tax refund checks begin making their way back to Americans, sources at the Internal Revenue Service confirmed Wednesday that IRS agents are still waiting for liberals who complain about any kind of tax cut to voluntarily mail their checks back to the federal government. After gauging progressives’ disdain for paying lower taxes under the new GOP plan, the federal agency had assumed any refunds of over-payments to the federal government would be sent back to them at once by the country’s left-leaning taxpayers. “Any second now,” one office assistant said as she checked the mail yet...

A volunteer at the NewSpring Church campus in North Charleston, South Carolina faces charges for sexually abusing more than a dozen young boys in his care last year, a lawsuit says. But he’s not the only one. Another volunteer in Florence was charged in 2016 for kissing and fondling a teenage boy at the NewSpring church campus there, WBTW reported. In Anderson County, yet another volunteer at NewSpring faced charges in 2016 after police say he fondled a 10-year-old boy, according to WYFF. In early 2018, police arrested a former youth pastor and then-volunteer at NewSpring’s Charleston church for sexual...

In the 90 sec video she reads aloud her typical hate feedback from liberals. Viewers will note that liberals eagerly police use of the N-word, but magically gravitate to it when launching their own political attacks. If you used language like this..? You would lose your job and/or the police would be called on you. You would also be banned, shadow-banned or deboosted. I don't have any biz relationship with him but stay tuned for Paul Joseph Watson to launch a big new video platform starting around the 20th of this month, and tell your friends.

New Jersey made history this month by becoming the fourth state in the nation to create an alternative option on its birth certificates beyond male and female. Starting Feb. 1, there is a new category on birth certificates -- "undesignated/ non-binary" -- also known as Gender X. The change is part of the newly-enacted "Babs Siperstein Law," which streamlines the process for transgender residents to change the gender on their New Jersey birth certificates. Unlike in the past, people do not need to have gender-reassignment surgery to amend the document. Now, anyone can switch the gender on their birth certificate...

Well, they didn’t think the Americans could fight, given they were a nation of immigrants, farmers, and store clerks with no military tradition. They were proven wrong at Cantigny, Château-Thierry, and Belleau Wood. The Americans were green as grass, but they kept on fighting until they won. It was one of the things that shocked the German army and damaged their morale in 1918. More from post at link

(Tim Hawk | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com) I was looking for a sign from God. Not a literal sign from the Almighty, though if He happened to enlighten me with something I wouldn't mind. No, I was looking for an actual sign -- in front of a church. Most church signs...

Perhaps Politico might want to reconsider publishing polls conducted by pollsters with a background of extreme Trump Derangement Syndrome. Such polls do tend to be chock full of errors as was the case in the poll Politico published on Wednesday which was conducted by Democratic pollster Fernand Amandi who has a well earned TDS reputation leading to the suspicion that his polls reflect an obvious agenda. In the case of the Amandi poll that Politico featured it shows Trump losing Florida despite polling irregularities and contradictory stats that are fairly easy to find. Before we get to the Politico story blaring that...

Shenzhen, China - Chinese tech giant Huawei is challenging a U.S. law that labels the company a security risk and would limit its access to the American market for telecom equipment. Huawei Technologies' lawsuit, announced Thursday, asks a federal court to reject as unconstitutional a portion of this year's U.S. military appropriations act that bars the government and its contractors from using Huawei equipment. It comes as the biggest global maker of network gear fights a U.S. campaign to persuade allies to shun Huawei. That effort threatens to block access to major markets as phone carriers prepare to invest billions...
