Just like Robert Newton (arrgh!) left his mark as Long John Silver, Alfonso Bedoya did the same as the quintessential bandido. One of the best scenes in an excellent movie.
Completely off topic, but I’d like to see some of these movie houses that bemoan the low traffic have a once-a-week or month “Classics Night” and show some of these oldies on the big screen. I’d be there with bells on.
Probably some distribution restraints somewhere though.

Alfonso Bedoya was in another favorite movie of mine” The Big Country” with Gregory Peck and Charlton Heston , Chuck Conners, Burl Ives. Best Western Fight of all time.
