Trump needs our help. To be effective we must have a game plan. The MAGA-TRAIN Game Plan: 1) Call your DEM/GOP senator and congressman each week, every week until further notice. The call only counts if you speak to someone, otherwise keep at it. 2) No script, just express your opinion. 3) Ask friends/family to commit to do the same and pass it on. Reasoning: 1) Arguing with the brainwashed left changes nothing. 2) Arguing with the RNC is not as effective. 3) If everyone makes these calls each week every week, we can put pressure on the Uniparty. I...

According to a recent survey, seven percent of Americans believe chocolate milk comes from brown cows. The survey was conducted by the Innovation Center of US Dairy in April. 1,000 adults 18 and over were asked questions about the role milk plays in their daily lives, Food & Wine reported. The study found 48% of respondents weren’t sure where chocolate milk came from. Seven percent thought chocolate milk only comes from brown cows. That adds up to about 16.4 million people, more than the population of Ohio. The Washington Post linked the study to past studies that consistently show many...

SNIP As nutrition experts point out, it is not the healthiest type of meal since it is typically high in fat and salt. More widely, it’s seen as a key factor in the growing obesity epidemic in the U.S. and throughout the world. Because it’s considered relatively inexpensive, there’s an assumption that poor people eat more fast food than other socioeconomic groups – which has convinced some local governments to try to limit their access. Food journalist Mark Bittman sums up the sentiment succinctly: SNIP Our recently published research examined this assumption by looking at who eats fast food using...

The rare photograph reveals a grisly backyard scene—and the intense appetite of mantises. While praying mantises aren’t the target visitors for a hummingbird feeder, a startling photo shows that they might come around anyway—but not for the sugar water. Several years ago, New Mexico resident and former National Park Service ranger Tom Vaughan spotted a bizarre sight at a backyard bird feeder: a dead hummingbird in the clutches of a praying mantis, the insect feeding on the bird’s carcass. Nibbling on one hummingbird clearly wasn’t enough for the ravenous mantis. “After this shot, the mantis dropped the bird, crawled across the...

Japanese and European negotiators are redoubling efforts to seal a political agreement early next month on what would be the EU’s biggest free trade deal. Sources from five EU countries said the goal of the latest whirlwind of diplomatic activity is for Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe to jet into Brussels for a summit July 5 or 6, ahead of a G20 summit in Hamburg on July 7. The intention is to reach a political deal covering more than 90 percent of a trade agreement, leaving only a handful of issues to be resolved later.

This has been a tough week. The shooting, the incredibly crass reaction of the democratic party to it. I have found myself getting and staying angry. That means, or so it seems to me; it is a good time to sit back with a bowl of popcorn and watch something funny. This may be the funniest movie to come out of the PRC in 20 or 25 years. There have been several US versions of this (Meet the Fokkers) as well as one from South Korea but this one is better. It is really funny. This also shows the standard...

That was fast.Less than a month after Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel for the investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 election, the process has been revealed as a thinly veiled offensive on the Trump presidency.According to reports this week, the investigation is now looking into potential obstruction of justice charges against the President – an idea that legal scholars on both sides of the aisle have dismissed as ridiculous – and even more out of left field, for evidence of financial crimes committed by the President and his associates.Unfortunately, this shift in focus is no surprise. We now...

After the network evening newscasts downplayed or ignored the father of freed North Korea hostage Otto Warmbier criticizing the Obama administration’s failure to bring his severely injured son home, on Friday’s NBC Today, correspondent Andrea Mitchell actually devoted a full report to the topic. However, her focus was on parroting excuses from former Obama officials. Mitchell began the segment at the top of the morning show’s 8 a.m. ET hour by lamenting: “The tragic return of college student Otto Warmbier, now released from North Korea, but in an unexplained comatose state, is now becoming a political issue...” The headline on...

“Created, Redeemed, and Sanctified by the Triune God” (Apostles’ Creed)Bob, Karen, Michele, friends and family of our dear sister Dottie: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. A Christian funeral service is both a time of sadness and a time of hope. It is a time of sadness, because we will miss our dear loved one. And so we grieve. However, as St. Paul tells the Thessalonians, we grieve, but not as those who have no hope. We do have hope, the only hope that works. For the Christian, our hope is firmly...

“Unacceptable” new anti-Russian sanctions approved by the US Senate violate international law, affect European companies and have a real aim of benefitting the US oil and gas sector, Berlin and Vienna said in an angry joint statement. The new anti-Russian sanctions are outlined in an amendment to a bill imposing sanctions against Iran. It was approved by the US Senate on Thursday by a majority of 98 to 2, but still needs to pass the House of Representatives and be signed by the US president to become law. The anti-Russian measures in the amendment involve imposing penalties on enterprises that...

Competition in the U.S. grocery sector is about to get more fierce. Discount grocery chain Aldi is expected to unveil on Monday plans to invest $5 billion to open nearly 900 stores and remodel hundreds more in the U.S. The expansion, over the next five years, puts the German grocer on track to becoming the third-largest food retailer in the U.S. by store count, behind the larger Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Kroger Co., and a growing threat to traditional food retailers. Aldi said it is expected to have a total of 2,500 locations across the U.S. by 2022. Its plan...

Paul Nehlen, a Republican businessman from Wisconsin’s first congressional district, has just launched his 2018 congressional campaign against the anti-Donald Trump House Speaker Paul Ryan. This is the second time Nehlen is challenging Ryan, after coming up short in the 2016 GOP primary in Wisconsin’s first congressional district. "Speaker Ryan didn’t help Mr. Trump defeat Hillary Clinton, and even pledged not to defend the president,” Nehlen said in his announcement. “But I have a message for Speaker Ryan: The American people are not done fighting for President Trump’s good agenda. That’s why I am announcing my second challenge to Paul...

The U.S. Office of Government Ethics on Friday released President Donald Trump's financial disclosure, a 98-page document that details his sprawling hotel and real estate empire. The White House said last month that Trump would voluntarily release his financial disclosure from the 2016 calendar year. The document shows Trump's assets, debts and transactions, but does not provide an exact picture of his net worth.

The FBI won’t be publicly releasing any memos that ousted FBI director James Comey wrote about his conversations with President Donald Trump because they might interfere with an ongoing investigation. ADVERTISEMENT The Hill made requested those memos, citing open records law, on May 16, the day a New York Times report revealed their existence. Those documents, however, fall under a part of the law that allows agencies to withhold records if they have been “compiled for law enforcement purposes, but only to the extent that the production of such law enforcement records or information... could reasonably be expected to interfere...

The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Fitzgerald collided with a merchant vessel off the coast of Japan in the early hours of Saturday morning local time, the Navy's 7th Fleet said. The Fitzgerald was operating about 56 miles southwest of Yokosuka, Japan, when it hit the merchant vessel at approximately 2:30 a.m. local time. In a statement, the 7th Fleet said it was looking into "the extent of personnel injuries," as well as damage.
