We experience the movement of Spirit as we let go to the one who dwells within. The letting go is the act of repentance which opens the door revealing the kingdom of heaven on earth. Donald Trump is a living example of the transformation revealed as one lets go in divine expression. The command is, let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. As one shines the light in the midst of darkness, then those who see this are compelled to make a choice. If the...

German President Joachim Gauck said he was worried about the prospect of Donald Trump winning the race for the White House, citing the US Republican hopeful’s “unpredictability” as a cause for concern, according to a magazine interview published on Sunday. […] The German president, whose role is largely ceremonial, said he hoped “that American democracy, which does not allow the president to act as an autocrat, that the system of checks and balances, of mutual control” of power would be maintained. …

President Obama made a case that was more pragmatic than hopeful for Hillary Clinton in an interview with MSNBC airing Sunday, saying that “not everything’s supposed to be inspiring” but his supporters nevertheless needed to vote for her. Asked by Al Sharpton about the reported lagging turnout among African-American voters for Clinton, Obama sought to lay out what was at stake for his legacy if Donald Trump won the presidency. “Everything that we’ve done over the last eight years will be reversed with a Trump presidency, and everything will be sustained and built on with a Hillary Clinton presidency,” he...

Pedersoli's new side-by-side is a modern shotgun with a classical twist, and it will be right at home for you at the range or aï¬eld. Dedicated scattergunners have probably realized by now that, although I've shot their preferred choice of gun for many years, I've never considered myself a shotgunner. It's not that I have anything against them; itÂ’s just that for me, shotguns have always taken a backseat to rifles and rifle shooting, especially when it comes to using black powder. But after seeing, handling and shooting a ï¬ne Pedersoli 12-gauge double with twin outside hammers, I think my...

Guy has written extensively on the policy trainwreck that is the Affordable Care Act. It is a complete nightmare, with double-digit premium spikes about to hit the nation (on average) next year. ThatÂ’s a Tomahawk missile strike to most home budgets, especially those in AmericaÂ’s middle class. An ironic twist since Obamacare was supposed to help this economic demographic, which now finds itself being more squeezed by this law. Even CNN Money noted that Obamacare is turning into another government program that helps predominantly lower income Americans. Simply put, the law isnÂ’t affordable. Republicans have known this. Minnesota Democratic Gov....

Meanwhile, Democrat Clinton faced dark skies in Florida, fighting intense rain and wind in a key battleground state before a Pennsylvania appearance with pop singer Katy Perry. Clinton was preparing to campaign Sunday with basketball superstar Lebron James, having shared the stage the night before with music diva Beyoncé and hip hop mogul husband Jay Z.“Tonight, I want to hear you roar,” a smiling Clinton said before introducing Perry for a Saturday night performance in Philadelphia. Perry, who hugged Clinton while wearing a purple cape bearing the words, “I’m with Madam President,” shouted, “In three days, let’s make history!”

Bon Jovi -- who played a few other songs, including "Living on a Prayer -- joked that he would start a band called "TK and the Faithful."

The outrage against Telus’ support for the carbon tax on social media was swift, as angry customers were threatening to leave the company for its competitors. The new carbon tax is estimated to cost the average Canadian family $1,250 in the first year, and go up from there. In Alberta, the center of oil production in Canada, where the economy has suffered the most from the low prices and where unemployment is high, Telus’ carbon tax cheering tweet was considered particularly callous.

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government e-mails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, DC, e-mails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material. In fact, Marina Santos was called on so frequently to receive e-mails that she may hold the secrets to E-mailgate — if only the FBI and Congress would subpoena her and the equipment she used. Clinton entrusted far more than the care of her DC residence, known as Whitehaven, to Santos. She expected...

The man whose protest at a Donald Trump rally in Nevada led the Secret Service to rush the GOP nominee offstage said he went to the event "with a simple sign" to "voice my displeasure with the nominee that the party picked." Austin Crites, who said he is a registered Republican, said in an interview today with ABC News' "Good Morning America" that he held up a sign proclaiming "Republicans Against Trump" at the rally in Reno on Saturday. After he raised the sign, "of course there was the booing going on around me," Crites told "GMA." "Then a couple...

Since the Large Hadron Collider at CERN turned on, it’s brought with it an incredible slew of results. Large numbers of rare, exotic and unstable particles have been created, and their decays have been measured to unprecedented precision. The Higgs boson has been created and observed to have a mass of 126 GeV/c2, branching and decaying in exactly the ratios the Standard Model predicts. As it now stands, we’ve detected every particle and antiparticle predicted by the most successful particle physics theory of all time. Unless we get hit by a big physics surprise, the LHC will become renowned for...

Pension funds and other asset owners increasingly are investing in U.S. infrastructure, often buying the assets from infrastructure money managers. This could be a win-win. Investor interest comes at a time when the first crop of infrastructure funds raised in the U.S. in 2004 and 2005 are coming to the end of their 10-year life span. Managers are expected to bring more transactions to market to take advantage of growing interest by direct investors. Industry insiders expect more infrastructure core projects to change to institutional investor ownership. Investors prize the core projects, even though returns generally are lower than investments...
