LITCHFIELD, N.H.—Appealing to New Hampshire’s powerful gun culture, Sen. Ted Cruz said Sunday that he’s “pressing” Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain to hold hearings on whether soldiers should be allowed to carry their own concealed firearms onto military bases. “I am very concerned about that policy,” the Texas senator told 120 gun owners at a hunting club here, before taking a trip to a firing range for some target practice. “I think it’s very important to have a public discussion about why we’re denying our soldiers the ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights.” Defense Department leaders oppose...

Chris Roberts, a prominent computer security expert, was aboard a United Airlines flight last week when he tweeted about a potential security flaw he found on the plane’s on-board Wi-Fi. Big mistake. Airline personnel saw the tweet and alerted authorities at Syracuse Hancock International Airport where the flight was scheduled to land. Roberts exited the plane and was quickly detained by the FBI. Roberts, the founder and chief technical officer of the Denver security firm One World Labs, said the agents questioned him, confiscated several of his electronic devices, and then let him go. “Lesson from this evening, don't mention...

It's no secret that Ted Cruz is running hard to the right as he pursues the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. The strategy is pretty clear: He's pushing to out-conservative the rest of the field. Cruz wants, as he says repeatedly on the campaign trail, to lead a "grassroots army" of "courageous conservatives." But how would the tea party Texan win over the independents and Democrats needed in the general election? That's the question Cruz got at a New Hampshire gun range Sunday afternoon from a Cruz fan who had driven up from Massachusetts to express his concerns, in person, about...

WARSAW (Reuters) - Poland has summoned the United States' ambassador in Warsaw over an article written by a top U.S. intelligence official on Poland's alleged responsibility for the Holocaust during World War Two, a foreign ministry spokesman said on Sunday. The article by FBI director James Comey, published in the Washington Post earlier this week, prompted an outcry in Poland and drew condemnation in the media and from politicians. A foreign ministry spokesman said on his Twitter account that the U.S. ambassador would be summoned to the ministry over the article, and that Poland would demand an apology. Comey said...

Now that the Philadelphia Eagles have signed a 4th quarterback -- Tim Tebow -- and talk is being bandied about re: Tebow's potential "role player" status...perhaps a review is in order to ponder a potential paradigm shift that the NFL is perhaps beyond the need to acknowledge. And for that, we need a quick review of another professional sport: Major League Baseball...and specifically the history of pitching: 1901-1968: For the first 68 years of the 20th century, Major League Baseball didn't even track "saves" by relief pitchers. Yankees pitcher Waite Hoyt was retroactively credited with "eight" saves in 1928. But...

Unlike in her last campaign, Hillaryland 2016 is a sunny, optimistic place where you can reinvent yourself, and she can, too.Hillary Clinton has represented many things to many people over the years, including feminism supposedly run amok. Between now and 575 days from now, though, she represents one big thing: the best chance to elect a woman to the highest political office in the world. As such, Clinton has galvanized not only the people who voted and worked for her in 2008 but also – and importantly – more than a few who broke for Barack Obama way back then....

Lexus liberals ignore how their climate change agenda hurts the less fortunateBarack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren and the whole gang of Democratic leaders claim that one of their highest priorities is to lift up the middle class and reduce the income gap between rich and poor. That goal collides with what they admit is their very highest priority: stopping climate change. Their agenda is driven by the millionaire and billionaire Democratic donors who make the party possible. But the agenda also involves making energy, home heating, transportation and just about everything else less efficient and more expensive to the middle...

Lets recap on some of the lessons learned: 1)Cash is still king, as it usually is. Never underestimate how useful a roll of USD can be, anywhere in the world, from New York to Ukraine. 2)Financial mobility is a great asset. Whenever possible, take the time to open an off shore bank account. This can be one of your best assets. 3)During desperate times, food becomes a priority. Stock up on food, grow your own in your garden to supplement you supplies. 4)Cash, medicine and diapers are on high demand. 5)You need your “papers” to move around. It doesn’t matter...

As if anyone actually needed another reason to move out of the crazy state of California, now it is being reported that conditions in some areas of the state “are like a third-world country†due to the multi-year megadrought that has hit the state. In one California county alone, more than 1,000 wells have gone dry as the groundwater has disappeared. The state is turning back into a desert, and an increasing number of homes no longer have any water coming out of their taps or showerheads. So if you weren’t scared away by the wildfires, mudslides, high taxes, crime,...

According to the Pew Research Centre, the entire population of Asian Americans, which includes Pakistanis, is among those in the highest income bracket as well as the best educated in the country. However, despite...

He’s baaaaaaaaaack. At least, for some offseason workouts, and — who knows? — possibly much more. Tim Tebow, the decorated Florida quarterback whose first stint in the NFL was as brief as it was closely scrutinized, has reached an agreement to join the Eagles, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Philadelphia Coach Chip Kelly has spoken highly of Tebow in the past, and apparently he saw enough of the quarterback during a March workout to add him to a depth chart that currently includes Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and G.J. Kinne. The Eagles had reportedly been trying to trade...

Breitbart contributor Sonnie Johnson suggested the Obama administration should be put into one building with a giant fence around it to “keep them in” on Friday’s “Red Eye” on the Fox News Channel. Johnson, when why it took so long to put spikes on the fence at the White House, stated “Obama doesn’t have his crown yet. Before they can fully fortify his kingdom, they must first give him his crown. So, then he will get his moat, he will get everything he needs to be properly protected.” She then proposed an alternative solution, “I would take it a step...
