According to new national polling data from Pew Research, the American people have revolted against President Barack Obama’s and the GOP establishment’s efforts to grant amnesty to America’s at least 11 million illegal immigrants through comprehensive immigration reform. “Only about a third of the public (32%) approves of the job Obama is doing on immigration policy; 60% disapprove,” Pew wrote. “Obama’s ratings for this issue among Democrats are mixed: About half (53%) approve of his handling of the issue while 42% disapprove.”

CHICAGO — Today’s Labor Department report that 720,000 Americans have left the labor force is further proof of President Barack Obama’s total indifference to the sufferings of millions of Americans looking for work, said Brian Burch, President of CatholicVote.org.Participation in the labor force is now at a 35-year low, according to the Labor Department. The devastating jobs report comes on the heels of a report Wednesday by the Census Department that the nation’s poor had been underestimated by about 3 million. The report suggested that the true number of Americans living in poverty was actually 49.5 million.“The news that 720,000 people...

When President Obama travels abroad, his staff packs briefing books, gifts for foreign leaders and something more closely associated with camping than diplomacy: a tent. Even when Mr. Obama travels to allied nations, aides quickly set up the security tent — which has opaque sides and noise-making devices inside — in a room near his hotel suite. When the president needs to read a classified document or have a sensitive conversation, he ducks into the tent to shield himself from secret video cameras and listening devices.

When the present world in which we are living in is becoming extremely more hostile and aggressive towards Israel - including America policies under Obama and Iran breathing threats and her border enemies following suit - DO NOT expect to see Israel idly stand by and let the world decide their fate and eradicate them from off of the face of the earth. Israel is a military might in that region with nukes and is armed to the teeth. They have one of the best armies in the world and have been soldiers of war continually since 1948. As the...

The women at the center of a lawsuit claiming their rights to dignity and privacy were violated by a Washington police department have spoken of their ordeal. Twelve victims claim they were filmed by security cameras as they stripped and, in some cases, used the toilet a at Payallup police station after being arrested for DUI. A Seattle defense attorney, who highlighted their plight, has likened the filming of the young women to 'a peep show'. James Egan, who is representing the 12 victims in a lawsuit against the police, told ABC News show 20/20: 'I've represented 1,000 people in...

There are many reasons that enter into making our Jerk of the Week decisions. Hypocrisy, dishonesty, and elitism are a few of the characteristics that adorn our nominees. Our usual target is progressive liberals, who slaver like mad dogs over the prospect of limiting the freedoms of Americans and controlling every aspect of our lives. However, several of the biggest reasons to land on our Jerk list are an anti-American attitude and disrespecting our military. We don't believe in blind worship of our military but understand that the vast majority of those in uniform sacrifice a great deal for our...

The Las Vegas Public Works Department has begun testing a newly installed street light system around City Hall with wide-ranging capabilities including audio and video recording. According to the Michigan based “Illuminating Concepts,” the system’s main benefits include “energy management, security and entertainment.” The Las Vegas setup includes such features as emergency notification flashers, playable music and a sound announcement system, all controlled from an Ipad. “Actually, there’s a server that’s housed by the company that’s providing this product and we’re communicating with just a wireless, wi-fi connection,” Neil Rohleder of the Public Works Department told My News 3. The...

James Brady, the formerly homeless man who earned national praise for turning in $850 he found on the street in Hackensack, learned the hard way this week that no good deed goes unpunished. Brady was denied General Assistance and Medicaid benefits by the Hackensack Human Services Department through Dec. 31 because he failed to report new income he received. The income, according to the agency, was the cash he found on Main Street last spring and that police returned to him in October after no one claimed it. The good deed turned Brady, who was homeless at the time he...

"Living in a zombie apocalypse must be hard for anyone, let alone the leader of a group. Yet still, when this fictional horror happens, time and time again we expect a man to rise up and take command. It’s just human nature – some people are born to lead, and just need the reason for doing so." ..........rick grimes is the worst?

To the list of problems plaguing President Obama’s health care law, add one more — fraud. With millions of Americans frustrated and bewildered by the trouble-prone federal website for health insurance, con men and unscrupulous marketers are seizing their chance. State and federal authorities report a rising number of consumer complaints, ranging from deceptive sales practices to identity theft, linked to the Affordable Care Act. Madeleine Mirzayans was fooled when a man posing as a government official knocked on her door. Barbara Miller and Maevis Ethan were pitched by telemarketers who claimed to work for Medicaid. And Buford Price was...

I think it is perfectly acceptable for the Nationalist Opposition to go into what the Labour government calls a ‘negative attitude’ and what has been called, and indeed is, a Tea Party replica. This is the only way for PN to stand up and be counted rather than offering the government a walkover. It may have nine MPs less, it may have got 37,000 votes less last March but there’s no time like the present for it to get some backbone back. After all, this is what Labour spent the past five years doing, undermining the government, siding with all...

Under Barack Obama, American influence in the Middle East has sunk to levels not seen since before World War II. From Israel to Saudi Arabia, from Egypt to the United Arab Emirates, our friends are shaking their heads, wondering why we have seemingly taken leave of our senses. Across this vital region, Obama is effectively empowering our opponents and turning his back on U.S. supporters and allies. He has openly courted implacable adversaries like Tehran's ayatollahs and the Muslim Brotherhood, allowed Chinese penetration to reach unprecedented levels and restored Russian clout to pre-1979 proportions. And Obama is far from finished....

Hardly a commercial break went by in October when Virginia voters weren’t reminded of Ken Cuccinelli’s far-right views on abortion and other social issues. How much of a difference the deluge ultimately made after Cuccinelli’s surprisingly narrow loss against Democrat Terry McAuliffe is open for debate. What isn’t in dispute is that Democrats and women’s groups believe their “war on women” playbook worked. And they have every intention of using it again in 2014,

Responding to President Obama’s latest reaffirmation of his 2008 campaign pledge to close the military prison now housing 164 terror suspects at the Naval Station in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, veteran Republican Congressman Frank Wolf (R-Va.) vowed that the House will block any administration efforts to transfer prisoners to the U.S. mainland. “The House’s position is firm. You’re not going to transfer prisoners at Guantanamo Bay to the U.S. Period,” Wolf said in a statement to CNSNews.com. …

resident Barack Obama says he'll do everything he can to help people coping with health insurance cancellations, but legally and practically his options appear limited. That means the latest political problem engulfing Obama's health care overhaul may not be resolved quickly, cleanly or completely. White House deputy spokesman Josh Earnest said Friday that the president has asked his team to look at administrative fixes to help people whose plans are being canceled as a result of new federal coverage rules. Obama, in an NBC interview Thursday, said "I am sorry" to people who are losing coverage and had relied on...

In his parting act, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has decided to continue printing some $85 billion per month (6 percent of GDP per year) and spend those dollars on government bonds and, in the process, keep interest rates low, stimulate investment, and reduce unemployment. Trouble is, interest rates have generally been rising, investment remains very low, and unemployment remains very high. Bernanke’s dangerous policy hasn’t worked and should be ended. Since 2007 the Fed has increased the economy's basic supply of money (the monetary base) by a factor of four! That's enough to sustain, over a relatively short period...
