Clinton has lost a majority of public approval dropping to 46 percent approval from 56 percent in April, according to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey released Wednesday. Thirty-three percent have a negative view of the former secretary of state. The poll also highlights that Clinton is losing support among younger voters, independents and even within her own party. A drug-smuggling tunnel equipped with electricity, ventilation and a rail system has been found connecting San Diego, California, and Tijuana, Mexico. Authorities seized more than eight tons of marijuana and 325lb (147kg) of cocaine in the discovery. Officials have not revealed the exact length or location of the recently finished tunnel, but Mexican media report it is near Tijuana's airport. Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike early today on a Syrian military facility near the northern Syrian port city of Latakia along the Mediterranean coast, a U.S. official confirms to ABC News. The attack is believed to be the fifth airstrike conducted by Israel inside Syria this year. Like the earlier airstrikes, the official said the latest attack presumably targeted advanced Russian missile weapons systems headed to the extremist group Hezbollah based in Lebanon. As Hillary Clinton looks toward a potential 2016 presidential campaign, her personal image is eroding. A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows the number of people who have a positive view of Clinton has dropped from a high of 58 percent in December to 46 percent today. The 22 percent who have a "very positive" view of Clinton is lower than any time since the 2008 presidential campaign, and the 21 percent who have a "very negative" view of her is higher than at any point since then.

BRISTOL — A Panhandle jury found suspended Liberty County Sheriff Nick Finch not guilty on charges that he tried to cover up his role in intervening in a gun case. The jury took about an hour to reach its verdict Friday afternoon. Finch was elated with the verdict and said he left a voice mail for Gov. Rick Scott, asking to be reinstated.
