Yesterday, IvyGate updated their tasteless post on the death of Warren Schor; I posted their explanation on my original post, but here it is again...It seems the post was only updated because of the outrage that followed rather that because of an acknowledgment of poor taste. Google has continued to tease fans of its Google doodle with yet another image of a UFO. The latest in the, now series, sees the Google logo spelt out in crop circles with a UFO hovering above. An 18-year-old Hofstra University co-ed was gang-raped by five men on campus, cops said last night. The shocking attack took place Sunday at around 3 a.m. Cops would not say whether the victim knew any of the men beforehand or where on the sprawling Hempstead, LI, campus she was assaulted. One year after the collapse of global financial firm Lehman Brothers, most voters (56%) continue to blame the nation’s current economic problems on the recession that started under George W. Bush, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. That’s up one point over the past month, but down six points from mid-May. Thirty-seven percent (37%) blame current problems on the policies implemented by President Obama, down two points from August. While the majority of Democrats (81%) and unaffiliated voters (52%) blame the Bush administration, 59% of GOP voters blame Obama’s policies.
