The Obama "Trust Me" Zero dollar is out. Please download both side images, print them up, pass them out. Use them if you're going to DC next week. This bill focuses on Obama's "We (govt) are God's partners in matters of life and death." We could write a book on this one sentence. It also focuses on the reality of government rationed care and whether you get care or not by some cost/benefit analysis of if it's worth it to society to save you. Front of the bill first, then the back. Please use both, they go together. For the...

Southern Poverty Law Center smears Steve Levy, promotes lawlessness Posted by Billy Kess on Saturday, September 05, 2009 9:24:47 PM The Southern Poverty Law Center has recently put out a so-called study concluding that Long Island's Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy is somehow indirectly responsible for the rash of anti-Hispanic biased crimes on Long Island. Of course, this is just  another pathetic attempt to silence the politicians who want to do something about these illegal aliens who are destroying our communities. They figure as long as they put the pressure on, not only will it get Levy to stop standing...

What Will Artificial Life Demonstrate? The production of artificial life is supposedly just around the corner. But ever since the famous 1953 Miller and Urey experiment failed to spark life in the laboratory just from chemicals, that corner has proven painstakingly long to get around. In August, biologist Craig Venter of the J. Craig Venter Institute in Maryland was reported as predicting that artificial life is just months away. His team had cloned, added to, and modified the DNA of a “simple†bacterium called Mycoplasma mycoides (a prokaryote). The complex procedure they used involved taking plasmid sequences from yeast (eukaryote) and...

I'm up with relatives in the Walla Walla, WA. area and ventured over to the Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days Parade. I've been to it before and it seemed bigger than usual this year. As the entries went by one by one, it all lead up to the grand finale' which resulted in the ultimate in patriotism. First, a group of Tea Party Patriots marched by and they received a warm response from the spectators along the parade route. Following the Patriots was the first half of the motorcycle club called the Combat Veterans of America. They too received...

Leading liberals are already thinking the unthinkable: Challenging President Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2012. According to a report on the left-leaning Huffington Post website, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann and Eugene Robinson, an African-American national columnist for The Washington Post, discussed just such a possibility Thursday night. Robinson said Obama needs to be careful how he handles the health care reform issue and the continuing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq

CERNOBBIO, Italy (Reuters) - Nouriel Roubini, a leading economist who predicted the scale of global financial troubles, said a U-shaped recovery is possible, with leading economies undeperforming perhaps for 3 years. He said there is also an increasing risk of a "double-dip" scenario, however.

The America-hating communist 9/11 "truther" Van Jones has an ally in his fellow Huffington Post writer David Roberts. Roberts of Grist, a misanthropic far-left environmentalist webzine bankrolled by many of the same funders who have backed Van Jones's nonprofit ventures, is currently in contention to be the most shameless liar of the left-o-sphere. We already know that Jones believes George W. Bush hates black people. Jones founded Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM) and the Ella Baker Center both of which participated in a vigil the day after Sept. 11, 2001, "mourning the victims of U.S. imperialism around...

Here is video of Marine Vet David Hedrick confronting Washington Democrat Rep. Brian Baird A SECOND TIME - this time in Olympia, Washington on August 31, 2009. Hedrick's first confrontation at a Town Hall Meeting occurred on August 18, 2009, in Clark County, Washington. This time, Hedrick took the microphone and introduced himself, telling Baird, "God must be smiling on me, because you have made the unlucky choice of picking my number again." After giving Baird another tongue-lashing for not following the U.S. Constitution, Hedrick then asked Baird to read the 10th Amendment of the Constitution. Baird did so and...

In an interview on Fox News on August 27th Mark Wilson of Applied Economic Strategies made the economic case against the current plan for health care reform. He said the current idea for mandating employers to insure employees or pay a fine in the form of a tax would cost employers $49 billion dollars and cause the loss of 5.2 million jobs. In addition wages would be “stunted” for another 10.2 million wage earners. This seems like a high cost to make sure that everyone is covered. Doesn’t it make more sense to lower costs of health care and health...

After a summer of health care battles and sliding approval ratings for President Obama, the White House is facing a troubling new trend: The voters losing faith in the president are the ones he had worked hardest to attract. New surveys show steep declines in Obama's approval ratings among whites--including Democrats and independents--who were crucial elements of the diverse coalition that helped elect the country's first black president. Among white Democrats, Obama's job approval rating has dropped 11 points since his 100-days mark in April, according to surveys by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press. It...

Former California Rep. Barry Goldwater Jr. says President Barack Obama's big-government reforms are "potentially jeopardizing future generations," admitting to Newsmax.TV that "It scares the hell out of me.” Goldwater, the son of Republican icon Barry Goldwater, warns in an exclusive Newsmax.TV interview that Obama's plans for a government-run health insurance scheme overlook one a crucial fact: There's no historical evidence the federal government can effectively operate such a massive government program. Goldwater, who worked as a stockbroker and business executive before he won his first congressional campaign in 1969, believes the insurance business is best left to the private sector....

President Barack Obama plans to reach out to Republicans and reassure — rather than confront — his liberal supporters when he addresses an extraordinary joint session of Congress at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday. But he will warn lawmakers against seeking a perfect plan and then winding up doing nothing, as happened to the last Democratic president back in 1994. The high-stake speech makes sense because Obama is such a gifted orator. But it is also risky because if poll numbers on health-care reform don’t improve after he speaks, it will be clear that the problem isn’t in the packaging, but...

Former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission chairmen and directors were generally unaware that staff were probing Bernard Madoff until the former financier was arrested in December 2008 for running a $65 billion Ponzi scheme, a federal watchdog said in a report released on Friday. The report underscores the disconnection between senior officials and their employees, who often lacked the experience necessary to follow up on leads and understand the magnitude of their investigation. Former Chairmen Christopher Cox, William Donaldson and Arthur Levitt, former director of enforcement Linda Thomsen and former director of examinations and compliance, Lori Richards, did not play...

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australians Lesley and Doug McGrath have for decades battled ocean swells that have eaten away at the backyard of their multi-million dollar Sydney home. They bought an old beach shack on Collaroy Beach in 1976 and replaced it with a two storey home anchored to the land by 12 meter (35 feet) long piers, a concrete slab, and an underground seawall of giant boulders. Even with all that protection, the fury of the ocean has at times torn up their backyard, large chunks of prime real estate disappearing under waves. With scientists predicting a 90cm (3 feet)...

Who specifically authorized the worst terrorist outrage ever perpetrated in Britain? Who conceived it? Who built the bomb? And how is it, amid the new controversy over the release of the only man ever convicted in the blast, that investigators never found answers to these most fundamental of questions, and never charged those responsible? The Iran of the early 1990s was considerably more circumspect than it is today about its drive for nuclear weaponry. But it was no less ruthless in the pursuit. And that is why, on August 14, 1993, a very high level group of Iranians, including two...

Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt has cancelled a planned trip to Israel this Friday, against the background of Israeli anger at the Swedish government's refusal to condemn an article in a Swedish newspaper accusing IDF soldiers of killing Palestinians and harvesting their organs. While Swedish officials told The Jerusalem Post late last week that the visit was in doubt, Israeli diplomatic officials said Saturday night that the visit had definitely been cancelled. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was considering not meeting Bildt unless he condemned the article in the tabloid Aftonbladet, something the Swedish government - citing freedom of the press...

The search for the best observatory site in the world has lead to the discovery of what is thought to be the coldest, driest, calmest place on Earth — a place where no human is thought to have ever set foot. To search for the perfect site to take pictures of the heavens, a U.S.-Australian research team combined data from satellites, ground stations and climate models in a study to assess the many factors that affect astronomy — cloud cover, temperature, sky-brightness, water vapor, wind speeds and atmospheric turbulence. The researchers pinpointed a site, known simply as Ridge A, that...
