Does Obama Face a 2012 Challenge In His Own Party?
Rasmuussen Repoorts ^ | September 4, 2009 | Rasmussen Reports

Posted on 09/05/2009 6:48:24 PM PDT by Lou Budvis

Leading liberals are already thinking the unthinkable: Challenging President Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2012.

According to a report on the left-leaning Huffington Post website, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann and Eugene Robinson, an African-American national columnist for The Washington Post, discussed just such a possibility Thursday night. Robinson said Obama needs to be careful how he handles the health care reform issue and the continuing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq

Does Obama Face a 2012 Challenge In His Own Party?

If his poll numbers continue to drop, they will be like rats trying to find a rope to get off the ship.

Who? Hillary? Biden?

Unless the Clintons and the Kennedy’s (and other) start distancing themselves from him and (a BIG AND) start cutting him down politically and releasing the “skeletons in His Closet” ...

It Ain’t Gonna Happen!

Of COURSE the democrats will challenge him! They will be nuts if they don’t.... but I think it is too late now.
I see a big CONSERVATIVE Republican win. that is of course IF THE REPUBLICANS keep the plank to the FAR RIGHT !!!

I think the Clintons are already planning Hill’s next campaign...O’s low polling numbers have poured gasoline on her ambitions...IMO.

I predicted this the moment Hillary took the Sec of State job. She is just waiting for his numbers to tank, plus the excuse the resign over some foreign policy stupidity (which one of many?).

This seems like a veiled (or maybe not so veiled) threat to Obama by the media that they put him in power and can and will take him out if he doesn’t do what the far left in this country wants him to do.

This might get interesting.

“Does Obama Face a 2012 Challenge In His Own Party?”

Answer: No.

Now, don’t shoot the messenger. Michael Savage has predicted that Obama will be removed from office or will be forced to resign.... I can only pray.

When you think about it- this is really breathtaking.

For these people- Obama is too far to the right.

The problem is that she'll need to find a way to extricate herself from Obama. Being Secretary of State and distant from Obama is no mean feat, but if anyone knows "mean" it would be the Queen of Mean herself.

It's too early. Hillary will resign as S of S after the 2010 election--Dem disaster-- and announce she is running "to save the Dem Party." I betcha!

I think that's why Hill and Bill met up in Bermuda several weeks ago...already planning and getting organized. It wouldn't surprise me if James Carville was there. You don't see him all over TV defending O...and James wore PUMA's during the last election. I think a lot of Dems don't like O.

Absolutely. Remember, Hilldawg ended the primary as a loser but was kicking Obama’s ass on the final month. She won’t be unprepared for the Cauci this time. Everybody will likely realize in 2012 that Obama’s change promise was as empty as the iside of his suit.

She’s not been looking too good here lately being the SOS. Either the job is too much for her or she realizes Obama’s ship is sinking and taking her down with him. I think it was silly of her to give up her Senate seat for the SOS she could’ve done far more damage from there especially in another few months when everyone wakes up and notices the economy isn’t getting any better!Being the SOS she has tied herself to Obama.

They’ll lose the black vote if they nominate someone other than Obama.

Ozero needs to be more careful how he handles these issues?

LOL, what a joke. First of all, he doesnt have a clue how to govern, as he has never had a real job in his life other than stirring up ghetto crackheads.

And more importantly, he isnt trying to win the wars, and he isnt trying to work within the established paradigm.

He HATES America and is doing everything he can to undermine us. Ultimately, his plan is going to fail, thanks to the half of the country that understands what is happening.

He will go down in history as a despised despot.
