Police pulled an arsenal of rifles, shotguns, handguns and ammo out of the Staten Island home of a 54-year-old man this morning, authorities said. A small army of plainclothes and undercover police officers armed with a search warrant descended on the 864 Jewett Ave. home of Gary Granato, 54, this morning. WASHINGTON (AFP) – US authorities Tuesday formally launched a program designed to pump 200 billion dollars into consumer credit through the purchase of securities linked to various loans. Lawmakers across the country are sponsoring resolutions asserting state sovereignty, in effect the right to ignore any federal laws or policies they deem unconstitutional including the stimulus bill, the No Child Left Behind Act and any new assault rifle ban.
