Police on Tuesday obtained an arrest warrant for El Salvadoran immigrant Ingmar Guandique for the 2001 killing of Modesto's Chandra Levy, opening a dramatic new chapter in one of the nation’s most enduring murder mysteries.

Sure. Right.
How much MORE was sent to his family to make sure he told the right store?

She was going to that park for a reason. A secret meeting.
Either it was her misfortune to be in the wrong place at the wrong time or this was a planned abduction. She was not found for a year even tho that park was searched extensively because she had researched the park on her computer.
Condidit hired illegal alien to kill ?
Could it be possible that she went there to buy some drugs? And once there, she fell into evil hands?

This doesn’t make sense in my opinion. With the wall-to-wall, non-stop coverage of this case it seems incredibly unlikely this illegal immigrant would have gotten away with this for so long.
I think the attack against Chandra was planned and it was the illegal immigrant who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If I recall correctly, Levy was literally packed and ready to go. A mysterious call came asking for a meeting and she was off and never seen alive again. Gary Condit, meanwhile, began a process of sanitizing his home, office and personal effects of anything connected with Levy - even to the point of dumping items in remote public trash containers.

I heard Fox news refer to him this way as well. It was my understanding that he is an ILLEGAL ALIEN from El Salvador.

Sometimes I think the media insists on using ‘immigrant’ instead of aliens with these stories, just to get people annoyed with all immigrants. Nothing like confusion to advance their agenda.
This story is sounding more and more like the flake that claimed he killed JonBenet Ramsey. It smells awful bad.
