We the undersigned American Citizens stand against Wealthy Hollywood Celebrities abusing their status to speak for us. We do not believe that they have a clear understanding of how we live, what we fear, and what we support. We believe that celebrities Martin Sheen, Mike Farrell, Tim Robbins, Rob Reiner, Barbara Streisand, and others with them are using their celebrity to interfere with the defense of our country. We believe that Hollywood Celebrities use their wealth to make their own personal issues known while Americans would never have the resources to speak out in this manner. We support President Bush in his efforts to defend our homeland, to defend democracy, and to take any measures to end the threat of terrorism. We do not claim to know more than anyone, especially President Bush. We elect a President who we can trust to make proper decisions based on facts available to him and not available to the rest of us. This is one reason trustworthiness and character is important in the people we elect into office. War is not easy, there are many before us who sacrificed their lives for freedom and if supporting citizens in other countries who cry out for democracy and freedom aids in the war against terrorism we support it. This Statement and its signatures will be published publicly and or delivered to Martin Sheen and Mike Farrell.

My ten-year-old son has to do a report on a famous, living, Black American for Black History Month. His teacher, a black thirty something male who keeps "Famous Black American" posters up on the walls of his classroom year 'round, was encouraging them to pick entertainers. They are supposed to do the report as a series of "certificates" denoting the subjects achievements through their life.

First my son wanted to do Lawrence Fishburn (because of the Matrix). Then he wanted to Samuel L. Jackson (because of Star Wars). This morning he brought up Bill Cosby. I have suggested Collin Powell, Condi Rice, or Clarence Thomas. My son says that while Sec. Powell is mentioned (barely) on one of those "posters," none of others on my list have even been mentioned in class.

Anyone catch J. Garafolo try to defend her anti-war stance on Fox last night? It was on "The Big Show." It was hysterical watching her try to justify her position.

Aparently, her greatest credential is having a satellie dish to tune into current events. Yeah, I'm sure she's exploring views other than those espoused by the liberal media.

Watching objectively, you can see the liberal mind in action... It's all about feelings and assumptions that everyone can just get along. Truly, no one wants a war, but we live in a world of facts- Iraq is led by an evil ruler that sponsors terrorism and is trying to develop WMD. He must be stopped. Period.

Add actor Danny Glover to the growing list of celeb Bush bashers. The “Lethal Weapon” star was in Brazil recently, where he called George W. a “racist” and blasted many of the president’s policies.

“YES, HE’S RACIST,” Glover said in response to a question from a reporter from the Brazlian magazine Isto E, according to our source’s translation.

“We all knew that but the world is only finding it out now. As Texas’s governor, Bush led a penitentiary system that executed more people than all the other U.S. states together. And most of the people who died from [the] death penalty were Afro-Americans or Hispanics.”

Glover continued: “[Bush] promoted a conservative program, designed to eliminate everything Americans had accomplished so far in matters of race and equality.” A spokeswoman for the actor said she had no further information.

Actor Penn Claims Lost Movie Role Over Iraq Views

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actor Sean Penn is claiming in a lawsuit that he lost a movie role because of his public opposition to a U.S. war against Iraq.
But Movie producer Steve Bing has countered in his own lawsuit that Penn is "irrational and irresponsible" and accused the actor of trying to extort $10 million for a movie he had no deal to star in.
Bing and Penn hit each other with Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuits on Tuesday in a bitter feud over the putative movie, "Why Men Shouldn't Marry," that could result in a classic courtroom showdown.
Penn, the ex-husband of Madonna, accused Bing of "borrowing a page from the dark era of Hollywood blacklisting" by allegedly reneging on a contract for him to play the lead in the movie after Penn aired his views on Iraq in a January television interview.
Bing, most famous for a bitter dispute over paternity of British actress Elizabeth Hurley's child, termed Penn's claim blackmail.
Bing alleged that on Penn's return from Iraq, Penn threatened "to turn their business dispute into a First Amendment crusade" although it had nothing to do with free speech, threatening to tell the media he had been forced off the movie because of his opposition to a U.S. invasion.
Bing said he had never closed a deal with Penn but had spent millions of dollars on pre-production for the movie which he wrote and intends to direct in the belief that the actor would be on board.
Penn claims breach of oral contract and is asking for $10 million in damages. Bing claims civil extortion and is claiming $15 million in damages.

She came out, took her seat and the first word out of her mouth was "Republicans" with a tone like we were something you would scrape off of your shoes. She started railing on us, spinning Dumbocrat talking points, and smearing President Bush. I lost all interest in ever hearing or seeing her again. She was on Leno's show again several months later and was still complaining about Gore losing.

New York film director Spike Lee led a chorus of criticism against President Bush at the Berlin Film Festival Wednesday, telling the president he had no moral authority to launch a war against Iraq.
Going out of his way to praise the French and German governments for their outspoken resistance to the U.S. government's war moves, Lee said it was an outrage that Bush was ignoring world opinion in his rush to attack Iraq.
