After reading the list of celebrities, I've come to the conclusion that their collective IQ, measured in degrees wouldn't be sufficient to boil water.

Here's my list of boycotted Hollyweird celebrities that continue to betray America. I've circulated this everywhere I can...I prefer the term red-white-and-blue list as opposed to black list...

Many Americans who support their country are exercising their right to not purchase any movie tickets, DVDs, CDs, etc. that are associated with these "activists". By joining the political fray and showing their support for Saddam Hussein and terrorism over their own country, these self-loathing celebrities are losing fan support AND money...

Boycott Petition:

http://www.ipetitions.com/campaigns/hollywoodceleb/index.html[/URL]

We the undersigned American Citizens stand against Wealthy Hollywood Celebrities abusing their status to speak for us. We do not believe that they have a clear understanding of how we live, what we fear, and what we support. We believe that celebrities Martin Sheen, Mike Farrell, Tim Robbins, Rob Reiner, Barbara Streisand, and others with them are using their celebrity to interfere with the defense of our country. We believe that Hollywood Celebrities use their wealth to make their own personal issues known while Americans would never have the resources to speak out in this manner. We support President Bush in his efforts to defend our homeland, to defend democracy, and to take any measures to end the threat of terrorism. We do not claim to know more than anyone, especially President Bush. We elect a President who we can trust to make proper decisions based on facts available to him and not available to the rest of us. This is one reason trustworthiness and character is important in the people we elect into office. War is not easy, there are many before us who sacrificed their lives for freedom and if supporting citizens in other countries who cry out for democracy and freedom aids in the war against terrorism we support it.

The follwing people are on a de facto boycott list being circulated around the Internet, their products will not be purchased:

When a new show is debuted on TV, it usually starts off non-political, but soon gets political. That's when it starts to suck and is eventually dropped. Sometimes the process takes a couple years, but i know that as soon as i realize my favorite show is trying to send me a message, i quit watching. I figure others do the same.

Is it possible to abbreviate this list to those who have vehemently and publically come out against the war on terror? As others have said, they have first amendment rights and signing yourname on a piece of paper is not necessarily a hanging offense.

It's not necessary to go after everyone to make your point or to be effective. In fact, it's easier and more productive to target the worst offenders and concentrate your energies there. The others will get the message. If needed, we should focus our efforts against those who have used their fame, fame gained through average American's like us buying tickets to their movies or buying their CD's, to be advocates for causes with which we are in strict disagreement. Fame and infamy are twin brothers. It is comical to watch these pukes whine about the criticism directed at them when it is the same dynamic that allows their opinions to get the media attention in the first place. Spoiled, whiney, selfish brats. That's all they are.

Sorry Bobby, they wanna put their name on the NION list, they go on my list...

BTW, looks like the backlash is working:

email from visa...seems they've pulled the Martin Sheen ads!!! Yeah!!

Thank you for writing Visa USA. We always value feedback from cardholders.
While we understand your concerns, it's important to know that Visa doesn't
endorse any personal political positions of individuals who appear in our
advertisements. Mr. Sheen is part of a long list of celebrities that we use
or have used -- from Yao Ming to Bob Dole to Kevin Bacon--to promote the
check card and while they play a role in our spots, they in no way represent
the views of Visa. Visa USA remains focused on providing cardholders with
the best global payments network offering an abundance of payment choices.

That being said, we can also say that this commercial is not on air anymore.

Again, thank you for writing. We hope that you will continue to choose Visa
as a secure, convenient, and reliable way to pay.

VISA Webmaster

Here's progress...so much for standing up for what you believe, huh?

Janeane Garofalo Gives It Up March 12, 2003
Is out-of-work actress Janeane Garofalo French? You could be excused for thinking so after reading that she's given up her fight after only a couple of weeks. You have to feel sort of sorry for her - almost. In days gone by, a D-celebrity could've really advanced her career by simply donning a pair of smart glasses, reading a couple New York Times articles, and spouting conspiracy theories against a Republican president. Those days are over. <GIGGLE!

Garofalo admitted that the so-called peace movement stayed silent during Clinton-era wars because it "wasn't hip." She would never have been pressed with that question before the days of the EIB Network. Garofalo says she may quit protesting U.S. plans to make war on Iraq (It's on Saddam, not Iraq) saying she's being harassed and that Hollywood leftists "don't get enough respect." She has it far better, of course, than anyone speaking out against Saddam Hussein's wars would've had it - but that's as it should be.

The star of flop movies such as "Mystery Men" complained that she's had to change her phone number because of harassing calls - and it's the media's fault. Where is this commitment that we've been told the anti-war types have if she's going to quit because of a little opposition? I once received millions of harassing phone calls, Janeane, which is why I give you this tip: get an unlisted number. As for getting respect, it helps if you can come up with something that makes sense. Saying that there's no evidence to connect Hussein to WMDs, and that Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice don't know what they're talking about based on sources you won't name, just won't work anymore. Even people who support you just won't buy it.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be on your personal list, only that focusing and concentrating on the worst offenders may produce better results. Separate the weak ones from the herd first and the rest will abandon them. If you bunch as many as you can, they circle the wagons and you make martyrs out of them.

Divide and conquer.

Here are a few Republican actors that still star in movies that I will support:

Arnold Schwarzenegger (biggest Hollywood Republican supporter)
Mel Gibson (Christian Republican)
Bruce Willis
Jim Caviezel (he is an actor in "Frequency" and plays Jesus in Mel Gibson's upcoming movie)
Kevin Costner (registered Republican that supported Bush but has voted for Democrats before)
Jean Claude Van Damme (spoke out against "wimpy celebs" against war and praised Bush. He has a straight to video career now and his latest movies have sucked, but I will still rent them because he had courage to speak up)
