For a head of state to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of.
Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip seen in Jerusalem tonight as a disastrous humiliation.
After failing to extract a written promise of concessions on Jewish settlements, Mr Obama walked out of his meeting with Mr Netanyahu but invited him to stay at the White House, consult with advisors and let me know if there is anything new, a US congressman who spoke to the Prime Minister said today.
It was awful, the congressman said. One Israeli newspaper called the meeting a hazing in stages, poisoned by such mistrust that the Israeli delegation eventually left rather than risk being eavesdropped on a White House phone line. Another said that the Prime Minister had received the treatment reserved for the President of Equatorial Guinea.

At least zero he hasn’t made Netanyahu exit the WH by the trash pile.

Open Letter to Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel:
Dear Mr. Netanyahu,
I want to apologize to you for the rude and un-American way you were treated when you came to the White House. The President of the United States seems to have forgotten his manners and proper protocol. He treated you worse than he would treat a leader from a banana republic.
President Obama also seems to have forgotten that he currently lives as a temporary guest in the People’s House, the White House. The American people would not have allowed you to be treated in such a way, if we had had any say in the matter.
I am so sorry that the American administration is such an untrustworthy partner that you could not even trust that you were not bugged in the White House when you were talking with your team. I am afraid that our allies are being mistreated, while others are given a free pass. It boggles the mind that our president bows to the Saudi prince, and treats Iran with such deference and respect, but Israel is treated as an untrustworthy, naughty child.
Please know that in 2012 we will do our best to remove this man who has disgraced and embarrassed us. You have been our closest Middle East ally, and I hope you will continue to be, since I believe the scripture that says that God will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you (Gen. 12:3).
May you be richly blessed,
OK, you I respect.
I'm sure they would have. But they aren't. And for this service we pay billions.
If I send a check to the propane folks and fail to get propane
because the tank is in a yard where the dog hates propane guys
should I still pay them? Sure, they have propane. But I didn't get it.
It's too bad we can't look to the secular Jewish leaders and organizations in this country to do such things as they appear to have zero emotional connections or feelings of roots with Israel. It's apparent that Obama has only Jew-hating Jews in his frightening circle of foreign policy advisors.

Yes and no. The best response might be ignoring Obama’s Hitler-mimic directly by someone at Bibi’s level. Still, it would be nice if he didn’t take this like he did from Clinton at Wye Plantation.
ROFLMBO
I know. It's a curse.
Chamberlain flew back to Germany, meeting Hitler in Bad Godesberg on 22 September.[108] Hitler brushed aside the proposals of the previous meeting, stating "that won't do anymore".[108] He demanded immediate occupation of the Sudetenland, and that German territorial claims in Poland and Hungary be addressed. Chamberlain objected strenuously, telling Hitler that he had worked to bring the French and Czech into lines with Germany's demands, so much so that he had been accused of giving in to dictators and had been booed on his departure that morning. Hitler was unmoved.[108]
That evening, Chamberlain told Lord Halifax that the "meeting with Herr Hitler had been most unsatisfactory".[109] The following day, Hitler kept Chamberlain waiting until mid-afternoon, when he sent a five-page letter, in German, outlining the demands he had spoken of orally the previous day. Chamberlain replied by offering to act as an intermediary with the Czechs, and suggesting that Hitler put his demands in a memorandum which could be circulated to the French and Czechs.[110]

I honestly think there are even more examples if one would look for them.
The announcement didn't derail the talks, Biden and Bammy's reaction to it did. Never mind the rockets coming in from Gaza, or all those Hzb'allah fighters massed near the northern border. Trival stuff compared to some apartments being built.
Reminded me of having someone kneel down behind me while someone else gave me a shove ... made me feel young again.
.
"you may not see Israel as an ally of any value to the United States"
I never said that. Simply stated they are not a great asset in the area.
.. the only thing I saw in the post I responded to that indicated your view of Israel's value as an ally was ...
Number of Israeli troops in Iraq = zero.
Number of Israeli troops in Afghanistan = zero
As though that fact has anything to do with our relationship with Israel. Color me mystified ...
Keep in mind, I gave up mind reading and reading between the lines for Lent ... maybe I'll be able to keep up with your brain after Easter Sunday ... I'll check back then and see if I'm up to the task.
Not after today anyway.
And for this service we pay billions.
As part of Carter's wonderful peace plan we also give billions to Egypt.
What are we getting for that?
barry soetoro is a muslim jew hater.
Rotfl. Aiming for my bum isn’t gonna do you any good, bumble. I don’t swing that way :)). W’ll see how soon the mods cotton on to you and your little muzzie crew here.
PING
Maybe the Mossad could get Obama’s record of live birth or fill in few details missing from Husseins life.
You have experience with N’s or just doing research?
