Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

That's just flat out wrong! On the main page they have this language:
"Barack Obama has made his birth certificate public and it can be seen here."
So please, give it up on this one.
[I stnad by that statement]
Let me correct that for ya’...I, stunad, stand by that statement.
mark
Granted that was before ID Fraud became the menace that it is today, in the past it was no big deal.
I'm very willing to be wrong on this one. Somebody in Hawai'i? Go get a copy of BHO's BC and post if for us, please.
If he was born in Kenya, does that give him Slave Blood?
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Seems like this whole mess is a good way of imposing misdirection to keep the eyes off the ball.
Meanwhile, in the real world, this election has Obama courting the religious right with expansion of Bush’s faith based programs with caveats that will get no press. Sure we will have more programs but with strings attached that perpetuate the liberalism of religious entities and foundations by not allowing them to operate under religious doctrine. Follow the money, which many will be fighting for, but those funds are jeopardized by any type of discrimination as dictated. In essence, they want to control the religious outreach under liberal doctrine.
While this probably means nothing to anyone, those clamoring for the money will sell their souls and their religion potentially and further puts religion under the control of government. The press won’t pound this home because they see religion as something else already and those religious conservatives will be spoon fed how great Obama is towards religion.
Bush won in 2004 with 60% of the religious vote, or something near that level or higher. If Obama can pull off the faithbased initiatives with MSM help, McCain might lose some of that base because he hasn’t been real strong in that regard to start with.
Be careful what you wish for.
It wouldn't be as cut-and-dried as that. Should Obama be disqualified because of something like this and Hillary gain the nomination, the Democrat party would be riven by furious Obama supporters. Hillary herself would not be held blameless after the primary contest she ran.
Something like that would be the last thing the DNC needs this election season.
Just great, I talk religion and I get post 666.
It’s your lucky day. Now you got post #669.
Now the bad news. Helen Thomas has noticed your post. LOL
Re post 666:
(how appropriate)
Is Obama’s, “faith based initiative” about the religious right? The media seems to be focusing on that aspect.
Perhaps it’s important to ask this question loud and often:
Or, is it about Islamic charities?...
If his BC is forged, how do you know he was born in Hawai'i?
You keep saying he was, yet all you can cite to prove it is an altered document.
Color me skeptical.
Color you credulous.
Something tells me I oughta go to church on Sunday. No skipping this week.
I probably know this answer but, did you use soetoro or dunham as last name searches on ancestry.com?
See where this has the potential of going? Meanwhile, the disengaged are going to believe he supports the SC decision on gun rights, he is against abortion in some respects, and wants to expand the role of faith based initiatives. They won’t hear the caveats and restrictions he puts as requirements for federal funding. Want federal funding for your programs, better hire some gays and lesbians I guess and strip all those bases of right and wrong from doctrine.
Nevertheless, we will spin around and around and around claiming he got this far being an illegal alien. Next thing we know he is president and we will be scratching our heads going what the heck just happened.
Except for statements from relatives who claim to have been at his birth in Kenya. Not proof either. But personal recollections of people who were there, plus a clearly altered document that says otherwise, plus the original claim that he was born in a hospital that hadn't yet been built, minus anyone who remembers his being born in Hawai'i, gives me pause.
Maybe you believe everyone is exactly who their altered or possibly forged papers say they are. I don't.
Read the links. The McKinnon files (including the fill-in-the-blanks document template) are higher resolution than the fightthesmears.com and daily kos files.
Your only proof of that statement is a questionable document.
That's sorta the whole point of this entire discussion.
I can loan you a couple bucks, if you'd like to buy a clue...
