Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Whatever the outcome, what it shows is that Hussein is THE most unprofessional candidate to EVER run for office of Presidency of the history of the United States. He's pathetic and an embarrassment to our country.

It should NEVER have been a question. And when he found out it was a question, he should have sincerely put the question to rest with the appropriate documents.

This guy is a diabolical and his campaign is amateur and shady. This should never have been an issue. The fact that voters have to pursue this information on their own, shows that Hussein lacks integrity and has zero respect for the office and citizens of the United States.

Disgusting - Hussein is. It's like he's running for class president of his Indonesian school. You know - the place where he grew up and studied the Koran...which he never talks about. What else can you expect from the sleazy Chicago career politicians though.

Hussein is disgusting and takes us all for chumps. He seriously does not care about us. He's an elitist and can't relate to the average patriotic American.

Yes, yes, and yes. That's why the fake BC matters, and that's why it would matter if he were born in Kenya. I have seen nothing particularly credible or compelling to suggest that he was born in Kenya, but this admission that the birth certificate is forged does raise an eyebrow (at least,) no? After all, the fake birth certificate was posted on the Obama official site "fightthesmears.com" in answer to the smear that he was not born in the United States.

Now that answer needs to be...uh...extended and revised, don't you think?

That's exactly what this is, a diversion.

All the time on this let's Obama skate on the real bad stuff such as his 0% liberal voting record. The Clintons were good at setting up diversions like this.

For those who think that the BHO BC that was posted, was then “blanked” out and put on photobucket......

That would be VERY difficult to do. Why?

To have blanked out the text of the BHO and then replaced those areas with the hatched green pattern, and then have that hatched pattern align so well, would be almost impossible. If that had been done, it would have already been discovered considering the amount of scrutiny the document has gotten.

I have used PhotoShop for 10 years extensively. That hatched pattern would be almost impossible to blank out and copy the pattern from another area of the BC. If the background was fairly solid, it would be easy. But that hatched pattern would be very very difficult.

If the BC is real, and was scanned, it would not be perfectly flat, and the hatching would not be 100% symtrical across the entire document. That is why many government documents have patterns like that. It makes them hard to manipulate and duplicate.

If you created a blank one, then you could save as a template. Pull it up, edit, and put whatever text you wanted.

But to start with a scanned document with that kind of pattern. Then to blank/replace those text areas with a pefectly matched hatch pattern would be very near impossible.

Pull up a document like that in Photoshop and try it yourself.

IMO, the BHO BC could not have been “blanked” and then used to create all the other documents. It started with a blank or created document. The BHO forgery was created. Then all the others from the same blank template.

I think the Repubs put out the question about McCain’s citizenship so they could the one step further with Obama the more I read this.Maybe he really believed he was born in the US.I would if that’s what my Mom told me/Why was it so important to her to make sure that he was shown to be born here?Maybe just to get the help the US provides.It is all a sad tale.Losing your Mom and Dad not really there while you got older.A lot of people can see why he says Hope and Change but he must be truthful or people will turn against him.

That's exactly what this is, a diversion.

Using fraudulent, falsified documents is a crime. If you did it in your profession you'd be ignominiously canned. If BO, through his Smears website is pushing false ID, then that is a big deal that leads directly to question his character and credibility.

That's just a sense of the Senate resolution. In earlier iterations, it was a bill modifying 8 USCA Sec. 1401.
