The El Paso water supply used to be known for its high levels of litium. Then, of course, there is Lithia Springs, Ga.

The split second that Li mining ops start there will be screaming, shrieking protestors at the site and posturing idiots in the California “legislature” trying to stop it.

I love when the left eats the left. This will pit the envirofreaks protesting lithium extraction from the Salton Sea with the greens demanding mandatory BEVs.

Pass the popcorn.

They have the potential of being safer, because nothin’ to leak; whether they’ll ever be economical and efficient enough for mobile uses (other than phones) remains to be seen.

Then we will point out that their iphones and ev’s they drove there with, are the reason the lithium is needed in the first place. Either give up the cars and phones, and power tools, and all the rest using these batteries, or let America develop stable domestic supplies of what is required to meet future needs.

Yep. It’s a fake lake started when the Colorado burst through and flooded the area.

It was through the Imperial Canal, correct?
