Rasmussen Report ^ | Nov 30, 2009 | BigTigerMike

Posted on 11/30/2009 1:02:39 PM PST by Bigtigermike

Seventy-one percent (71%) of voters nationwide say they’re at least somewhat angry about the current policies of the federal government. That figure includes 46% who are Very Angry.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 27% are not angry about the government's policies, including 10% who are Not at All Angry........

The data suggests that the level of anger is growing. The 71% who are angry at federal government policies today is up five percentage points since September.

Even more stunning, the 46% who are Very Angry is up 10 percentage points from September.

“By 287 BC, the economic condition of the average plebeian had become poor. The problem appears to have centered around widespread indebtedness. The plebeians demanded relief, but the senators refused to address their situation. The result was the final plebeian secession.”

Today’s citizens, whom the left would LOVE to make into peasants in a feudalist society with them as the neo-nobility, have much better than pitchforks and torches.

You are correct sir. I have heard others say we are on the verge of a revolution. They just not know if it would be an "American Revolution" or a "French Revolution." I also wonder which it will be.

Too many Republicans and most of the Republican leadership just keep playing "Me too! Me too!"

What do we expect from this clown?

The elitist bastards in Washington better be glad it’s not the days of torches, pitchforks and the guillotine.

History will repeat, albeit with a few technological improvements.

The anger building now, isn't any different than what caused the French to storm the Bastille. At some point it will explode into revolt if Washington doesn't begin rolling back Obama's Marxist game plan and start governing like the American people want them to.

They're really playing with fire here. Once the powder keg blows, there's no turning back. It will bring a major re-ordering of our public institutions that will shake the country to its foundations. Liberals and leftists won't just be thrown out of office, their whole political philosophy will likely be declared illegal in America.

No torches and pitchforks anymore, Nightvision and AR’s are the new hardware of the pissed off masses!!!

Thinking the same thing here... The swamp rats in DC are playing with nuclear fire. They're pushing The People toward an upheaval that we don't want, and that they will forever regret, should it come to that.

Once this thing blows, it's all over for the left in America.

If the Founding Fathers were here with us today, I believe they'd be wondering why the hell we haven't already dragged the entire government out of their offices by their feet, and strung 'em up.

Everything they warned us of has come to pass, including the need to refresh the tree of liberty from time to time.

Just guessing, but I think 60% Very Angry might just be the tipping point.

It’s not too late to stop Obamacare. From my email from Conservative Alerts. Especially read the LAST sentence of each senator’s comment:

“Senator Nelson: “Throughout my Senate career I have consistently rejected efforts to obstruct. That’s what the vote on the motion to proceed is all about. It is not for or against the new Senate health care bill released Wednesday. In my first reading, I support parts of the bill and oppose others I will work to fix. If that’s not possible, I will oppose the second cloture motion-needing 60 votes-to end debate, and oppose the final bill.”

Senator Lieberman: “I’ve told Sen. Reid that I’m strongly inclined, I haven’t totally decided, but I’m strongly inclined to vote to proceed to the healthcare debate, even though I don’t support the bill that he’s bringing together, because it’s important that we start the debate on healthcare reform, because I want to vote on healthcare reform this year. ... I also told him that if the bill remains where it is now, I will not be able to support a cloture motion before final passage.”

Senator Landrieu: “My vote to move forward on this important debate should in no way be construed by the supporters of this current framework as an indication of how I might vote as this debate comes to an end. I have decided that there are enough significant reforms and safeguards in this bill to move forward, but much more work needs to be done.”

Senator Lincoln: “In fact, madam president, this vote for or against a procedure that allows us to begin open debate on health care reform is nothing more and nothing less. ... I will vote to support — will vote in support of cloture on the motion to proceed to this bill, but, madam president, let me be perfectly clear: I am opposed to a new government-administered health care plan as part of comprehensive health insurance reform, and i will not vote in favor of the proposal that has been introduced by leader Reid as it is written. I, along with others, expect to have legitimate opportunities to influence the health care reform legislation that is voted on by the senate later this year or early next year. I am also aware that there will be additional procedural votes to move this process forward that will require 60 votes prior to the conclusion of the floor debate. I’ve already alerted the leader, and I’m promising my colleagues, that I’m prepared to vote against moving to the next stage of consideration as long as a government-run public option is included.”’
