WASHINGTON – A U.S. senator has weighed in on the continuing controversy over Barack Obama's eligibility for office by saying he has never seen proof the new president was actually born in Hawaii.
"Well, his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven't seen any birth certificate," Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., told constituents in Cullman County. "You have to be born in America to be president."

Kind of makes one wonder how he managed to get a B- in history in high school and how he managed to receive a full scholarship to Oxy doesn’t it? The presstitutes didn’t make anything of his gaffe but I noticed it while I was surfing one night and it did get posted at FR at the time. Later stories of the night left off that particular comment he made!
I do not believe that. There is nothing in the Constitution that allows it. If a law, EO, regulation is passed in an unconstitutional manner, i.e. by someone not eligible to be president, then it has no authority, no matter what Congress does.
You'll notice in the excerpt of the Act of 1795, Section 3, that children born overseas are not called 'natural born citizens' overseas anymore but are only called " as citizens."
"SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, that the children of persons duly naturalized, dwelling within the United States, and being under the age of twenty-one years at the time of such naturalization, and the children of citizens of the United States born out of the limits and jurisdiction of the United States, shall be considered as citizens of the United States. Provided, that the right of citizenship shall not descend on persons whose fathers have never been resident of the United States. No person heretofore proscribed by any state, or who has been legally convicted of having joined the army of Great Britain during the late war, shall be admitted as foresaid, without the consent of the legislature of the state in which such person was proscribed. "
It kind of brings to mind the comment by Rahm to take advantage of a crisis, what better crisis than the last remaining member of your mother’s family passing away just in time to make the evening newscasts the night before the election? It also helps that no one questioned how his grandfather died before the election while he kept bringing up McCain’s cancer. Even now wiki Cancer deaths in HI doesn’t include Grandpa while Grandma and mom are there! It wasn’t revealed until AFTER the election that Grandpa Dunham died of cancer!

There is a biography of Barry Soetoro ‘s Occidental College days. It states that when Barry Soetoro was 18-19 he attended school as BARRY SOETORO. See: PLUS More at link.
Possibly the reason Obummer is refusing all records release is he used the name Barry Soetoro for foreign aid scholarships and traveling to other countries on a Indonesian passport. He may or may not have been born in Hawaii but for sure would be brought up in charges for lying on alias and drug use when he filled out his license information to practice law. He should have been busted already since he wrote he abused drugs in his book.
Then again maybe he was not born in Hawaii and his BC on record is simply one of foreign born but not US citizenship.
For whatever reason we all deserve to know why these articles at the link say he is Barry Soetoro and not Barack Obama.

I seriously doubt the congress intended to make the children of US diplomats stationed overseas ineligible to run for President. If that were the case, there would have been quite a bit of difficulty in getting people to fill those jobs. According to both the 1790 and 1795 acts, the children are born as citizens of the United States not of foreign countries and not naturalized citizens.
I was looking for info on Jr one night and ended up at Ann’s wiki. Down at the bottom someone had posted that Ann and Sr couldn’t have met at the East West Center because the first buildings for the East West Center were not opened until Sept./62 after Sr had left the island and Ann was still in WA state. 24 hours later I was back at Ann’s wiki and that entry had been removed. It is still posted at the East West Center or was when I last checked last Wednesday.

No matter how cynical I have become over the years, I believe there will be a growing number of members of both Houses of Congress who will question Obama’s ability to lead this nation. I think we will hear rumblings from both sides of the aisle.
At this point we should welcome anyone without asking the question we all want answered. The stakes are too high.
