GLOBAL ANTIWAR MOVEMENT DECLARES SUPPORT FOR TERRORISTS AGAINST US, UK

At the culmination of a gathering of global 'antiwar' groups in Istanbul to hold court on the liberation of Iraq led by the United States and the United Kingdom, the jurors who heard testimony against the liberators issued their findings which included a declaration of support for the terrorists in Iraq who are killing American, British and coalition soldiers and Iraqis.

The World Tribunal on Iraq is endorsed by leading leftwing organizations from around the world including American-based groups like Not in Our Name Project, United for Peace and Justice, Code Pink and International ANSWER.

The war on terror has reached a critical juncture. The left has publicly chosen sides with this announcement. There can be no more talk of 'we support the soldiers but not the war.' As Aloha Ronnie says, THE ENEMY IS WITHIN.

Here are two statements from the trbunal's announcement on Iraq:

10. There is widespread opposition to the occupation. Political, social, and civil resistance through peaceful means is subjected to repression by the occupying forces. It is the brutality of the occupation that has provoked a strong armed resistance and certain acts of desperation. By the principles embodied in the UN Charter and in international law, the popular national resistance to the occupation is legitimate and justified. It deserves the support of people everywhere who care for justice and freedom.

AND

III. Recommendations
Recognising the right of the Iraqi people to resist the illegal occupation of their country and to develop independent institutions, and affirming that the right to resist the occupation is the right to wage a struggle for self-determination, freedom, and independence as derived from the Charter of the United Nations, we the Jury of Conscience declare our solidarity with the people of Iraq.

The Tribunal also calls for the world community to support the terrorists by denying aid to those fighting them in Iraq:

10. That people around the world resist and reject any effort by any of their governments to provide material, logistical, or moral support to the occupation of Iraq.

The tribunal betrays the bravery of the 8 million Iraqis who their cast their votes in January by declaring the elected government of Iraq illegitimate. The terrorists couldn't have said it better:

9. Any law or institution created under the aegis of occupation is devoid of both legal and moral authority. The recently concluded election, the Constituent Assembly, the current government, and the drafting committee for the Constitution are therefore all illegitimate.

Some of you may read this and say this is not news. As with last night's posting about Code Pink, the left has been trying keep under wraps their support for the terrorists. Now, they have boldy declared themselves to be on the side of the terrorists.

We knew this day would come after September 11. We just didn't know the day.

I came into this discussion late.

But I have a question.

Does anyone have a reason why Americans are Anti-American? I can understand the jealousy of Nations against the USofA, but . . . why are our own citizens Anti-American?

Don't they realize they could be living under a repressive government which would as soon kill them as allow them to make negative comments about that government? Didn't they study history in school?

Someone got an explanation? Besides "friggin' idiot" I mean. Or maybe that's the explanation.

I could care less what the media thinks of these organizations. I'd like to see what the judiciary thinks of them. Treason is spelled out in the Constitution.

I always knew that the antiwar dummies were always on the terrorists side. They say they're for peace, man what a bunch of bull! The so called peace freaks are for violence and death, not President Bush, or me, or the rest of us who know the importance of The War on Terrorism. The far left like Kerry and the rest of the nuts in the democratic party(the left), are all against America and freedom and want our enemies, like UBL and the rest of the terrorists who want to destroy us and freedom to win and destroy America! The news that left-wing nut jobs that are against what we are doing in The War on Terrorism are supporting terrorists and want to kill innocent Americans, is no surprise to me!

Well anarchists, socialists, and communists have been agitating the masses in America for the better part of a decade (at least 85 years).

After they successfully demonized Joseph McCarthy (and impugned all efforts to squash communist infiltration into American government, media, and educational institutions), they got more entrenched.

I think the waves finally broke in the late 1980s to 1990s. Political correctness had been with us for 20+ years by that point (and 1970s NYC punk was originally a rejection of the liberal totalitarianism of hippies) but it became a household word. People going through word stumbles as they realized they were censoring themselves from saying a harmless word like mailman.

There are some who came back from trying to piss off their parents. For others it became a way of life. They ARE mentally ill. Both Abbie Hoffman and Hunter S. Thompson killed themselves because they were so consumed with rage. Self-medicating with whatever dope they could score until they finally had it.

Jane Fonda (Hanoi Jane, i.e., Vietnam anti-war liberal) said if the American people had any idea how wonderful Communism is, they'd be down on their knees begging for it.
Jane Fonda and John Kerry started this pro-Communist movement and it's been alive and well ever since. Have you noticed the worlds socialists were silent and absolutely giddy during the Clinton administration? He was a draft dodger, and sold our country out to Communist Red China for campaign contributions (and soooo much more!).

Sometimes other hosts don't even want to address some problems. Michael Savage would call these people vermin and traitors; I don't think he would let the story sit.

These "antiwar" types have always supported the Palestinian war and have supported their use of homicide bombers (crying to the interviewers "They are using the only weapons they have, their bodies (sob)!!!")

Maybe some people are just learning that they are pro-terrorist.
