GLOBAL ANTIWAR MOVEMENT DECLARES SUPPORT FOR TERRORISTS AGAINST US, UK

At the culmination of a gathering of global 'antiwar' groups in Istanbul to hold court on the liberation of Iraq led by the United States and the United Kingdom, the jurors who heard testimony against the liberators issued their findings which included a declaration of support for the terrorists in Iraq who are killing American, British and coalition soldiers and Iraqis.
The World Tribunal on Iraq is endorsed by leading leftwing organizations from around the world including American-based groups like Not in Our Name Project, United for Peace and Justice, Code Pink and International ANSWER.
The war on terror has reached a critical juncture. The left has publicly chosen sides with this announcement. There can be no more talk of 'we support the soldiers but not the war.' As Aloha Ronnie says, THE ENEMY IS WITHIN.
Here are two statements from the trbunal's announcement on Iraq:
10. There is widespread opposition to the occupation. Political, social, and civil resistance through peaceful means is subjected to repression by the occupying forces. It is the brutality of the occupation that has provoked a strong armed resistance and certain acts of desperation. By the principles embodied in the UN Charter and in international law, the popular national resistance to the occupation is legitimate and justified. It deserves the support of people everywhere who care for justice and freedom.
AND
III. Recommendations
Recognising the right of the Iraqi people to resist the illegal occupation of their country and to develop independent institutions, and affirming that the right to resist the occupation is the right to wage a struggle for self-determination, freedom, and independence as derived from the Charter of the United Nations, we the Jury of Conscience declare our solidarity with the people of Iraq.
The Tribunal also calls for the world community to support the terrorists by denying aid to those fighting them in Iraq:
10. That people around the world resist and reject any effort by any of their governments to provide material, logistical, or moral support to the occupation of Iraq.
The tribunal betrays the bravery of the 8 million Iraqis who their cast their votes in January by declaring the elected government of Iraq illegitimate. The terrorists couldn't have said it better:
9. Any law or institution created under the aegis of occupation is devoid of both legal and moral authority. The recently concluded election, the Constituent Assembly, the current government, and the drafting committee for the Constitution are therefore all illegitimate.
Link to the trbunal's pronouncement here.
Link to the list of endorsers here.
Some of you may read this and say this is not news. As with last night's posting about Code Pink, the left has been trying keep under wraps their support for the terrorists. Now, they have boldy declared themselves to be on the side of the terrorists.
We knew this day would come after September 11. We just didn't know the day.

So, car bombs used to kill non-combatants are sanctioned by the U.N.?
Oh, come on now. Don't you know they only target coalition forces and "collaborators" - and any non-combatants killed are just collateral damage?????

Let's see how they support the terrorists when they become the target. After all, we're not the only country that is not primarily Islam...which means we aren't the only INFIDELS! How long will it take them to come running back to our side THEN?
To: wtc911
Did you notice that the Green Party of New Jersey and various Green Party people are among the endorsers?
I'm a Conservative who believes in conserving. For instance, I use a push lawn mower to save gas (and I need the exercise). The further radicalization of the environmental movement is a bad thing indeed for those of us who see conservation, being a good steward of God's earth, as a traditional value!

According to the lib on the radio, we Americans should be "shot" for putting these poor people in the position of having to split up to vote, and worry about whether the live through it... You can't argue with people that use that logic... It's impossible to argue with these spoiled jerks, who have never had to fight or make a sacrifice--EVER.

What willful, blatant and invidious detachment from reality:
By the principles embodied in the UN Charter and in international law, the popular national resistance to the occupation is legitimate and justified.
Bull crap. The U.N. (in S.C. Resolution 1546, IIRC) declared the "occupation" ended with the transfer of sovereignty a full year ago now. The interim and transitional governments were explicitly and formally recognized not only by the U.N. but by the Arab League fer chrissake.
This cynical leftist rhetoric lamely attempts to cover an explicit and enthusiastic endorsement of WAR by supposed "peace" groups. Been then this crowd has always been pro-war, so long as the war is waged against liberal or liberalizing governments and societies.

Do we need to start talking about internment? Detention? When is enough enough? We are at war folks and we need to fight to win.
To: listenhillary
They have stated now that they are on the terrorists' side. "The United States of America is an enemy of those who aid terrorists" ... President George W. Bush, October 7,2001.
"You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists."

Any law or institution created under the aegis of occupation is devoid of both legal and moral authority. Guess this means the Palestinian Authority is no more?
No, actually, the hard left is brutally consistent. I guarantee you that if the PA or a similar institution ever genuinely pursued peace this crowd would turn on it without hesitation, declaring that Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other armed groups represented the real "will of the people in their legitimate struggle for self-determination, blah, blah, blah."
They'd rather that Palestinians were making war against Israel, but if the Palies ever threatened to make peace with Israel the hard left would favor the bloodiest possible civil war among the Palestinians as preferable. For these folks anything is preferable to free people, unthreatened and at peace. They recognize that the "revolution" will never occur under such circumstances. War, strife and the deligitimization of all liberal institutions is their constant aim.

"If the feds can tie these groups to the declaration of support for terrorists, it's time to either start deporting or incarcerating. I here there's openings about 90 miles south of Miami."
Here in the Bay Area, we have Alcatraz and Angel Islands. They are surrounded by frigid waters and plenty of sharks. Both Islands have standing facilities and natural air conditioning. All we need to add is some barbed wire, Qu'rans and rap music.

Hmmm, I guess this jury of idiots is confused about the enemy here.... I think they're very, very clear on who their enemy is, even if they lie outrageously on the point in their rhetoric. The Iraqi people are their enemy, as are any people who reach for (or attain) freedom, security, prosperity and a liberal governance and social order. Bear in mind these are leftists, not liberals in any sense, or certainly not in any broad or traditional sense of the term. They're as passionately opposed to the core values of classical liberalism as the Nazis were (just less honest about it).

The powers that be need to draw a line between guaranteed dissension and treason and they need to start enforcing it.
There is a big difference between voicing one's opinion and helping the enemy, but because of constant catering to the left, a lot of treasonous behaviour goes unchecked.

US Peace Council Veterans for Peace
These are the creeps who plant white crosses on the beach in Santa Monica, with a big sign announcing the latest body count, and calling the whole thing a "memorial." Worse, they call it "Arlington West." Traitorous scum who, if they served, did so dishonorably.

Ward Churchill's Endorsement Of Fragging Is A Natural Outgrowth Of The Left's Virulent Anti-War Rhetoric
"For those of you who do, as a matter of principle, oppose war in any form, the idea of supporting a conscientious objector who's already been inducted [and] in his combat service in Iraq might have a certain appeal. But let me ask you this: Would you render the same support to someone who hadn't conscientiously objected, but rather instead rolled a grenade under their line officer in order to neutralize the combat capacity of their unit?"
Later, in a question-and-answer period, Churchill was asked whether the trauma "fragging" inflicts on that officer's family back home should be considered, he responded: "How do you feel about Adolf Eichmann's family?" -- Ward Churchill
This is, of course, an outrageous comment, but it's also a natural outgrowth of the rhetoric used by a lot of anti-war liberals.
If George Bush is Hitler, doesn't that make the troops Nazis?
If Dick Durbin is right and we're as bad as Pol Pot and the Soviets, why should Americans "support the troops?"
If Michael Moore is right and the terrorists in Iraq are "The Minutemen," shouldn't we be rooting for them to defeat our troops?
The anti-war left has painted the Bush administration as genocidal fascists for sending our troops to Iraq, they treat the war as unjust and immoral, and then they constantly demonize our troops as murderous, torturing thugs. Well, if you believe the rhetoric coming from the left, what Churchill said is just the next logical step.
I'd also note that Churchill is hardly alone on the left:
"Turns out that far-left groups in western Europe are carrying on a campaign dubbed Ten Euros for the Resistance, offering aid and comfort to the car bombers, kidnappers, and snipers trying to destabilize the fledgling Iraq government. In the words of one Italian website, Iraq Libero (Free Iraq), the funds are meant for those fighting the occupanti imperialisti. The groups are an odd collection, made up largely of Marxists and Maoists, sprinkled with an array of Arab emigres and aging, old-school fascists, according to Lorenzo Vidino, an analyst on European terrorism based at The Investigative Project in Washington, D.C. "It's the old anticapitalist, anti-U.S., anti-Israel crowd," says Vidino..."
Here's another quote from popular left-wing moonbat, Bartcop:
"Since feedback tells me a clear majority of bartcop.com readers believe our soldiers are "no different" than the scumbag 9-11 hijackers, I felt uncomfortable counting the who sacrificed their lives for their country, as tho they got what was coming to them."
Here's a wacko who talks about the "Bush Family Evil Empire," how we went to war for oil, who thinks Bush either let 9/11 happen on purpose or was responsible for it, yada, yada, yada, and then it's, "Oh, why don't most of my readers like the soldiers?" Maybe it's because they actually read what you write on your page and take it to the next logical step, you loon.
You know, this sort of rhetoric should prompt some hard questions for the left; it should be a wake-up call.
Maybe people like Dick Durbin should ask themselves if what they're saying is going to be great propaganda for Al-Qaeda. Maybe some people on the left should work a little harder to make it clear that they do think our military are the good guys. Maybe they think that's something they believe "goes without saying," but judging by what Churchill said and what Bartcop wrote about his readers, there are apparently a lot of people out there on the left who aren't getting the message.
In other words, if you're anti-war, dissent as much as you like, but choose your words more carefully to make sure our troops don't suffer as a consequence of your unnecessarily rabid bombast.

I like the idea of a subpoena of the ANSWER, Green party, Code Pink active member lists and adding them to the no fly list.
Although many members may be clueless as to the ties of their organization, they can be removed from the no fly list by signing a loyalty oath to the USA and burning their membership cards. Once chance. If we find them supporting terrorists again, they stay on the no fly list.
Too extreme?
