What is wrong with the TV and Cable newsrooms?
Why do they protect AND promote Hanoi Kerry?
Why is that talk radio and the internet are not afraid to tell the truth?
Why do the TV and Cable newsrooms refuse to "question Senator Kerry's patriotism"?
Why do the TV and Cable newsrooms look for the negative news
BUT ignore they are backing a traitor?
A) The TV and Cable newsrooms are willing to sell us out
to make the big bucks from Hanoi Kerry campaign ads.
They will even lie on "the poll results"
to get you to think a traitor is even with the President."

I think the mantra is "Anybody but Bush". Frighteningly, right, wrong, or the American way have diddley squat to do with it.
Kerry is using the Kennedy machine and the Clinton tie in with the media to bash Bush.
Neither the media nor the Dems have forgiven Bush for winning the election, nor will they.

Tonk, thank you again for your service to our country, then AND now.
Just hope that the overseas military votes this November will not go uncounted as they did in 2000. I'm not real concerned about my daughter and son-in-law, they're on Okinawa, but about the ballots from our brave men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They hide this information the same way they don't bother reporting on all of the good things our fabulous Military is doing in Iraq and Afghanistan.
If it is GOOD news for the Military, and for the (R) or conservatives, then you can be sure they are not going to publish it.
Same reverse logic for Kerry. They aren't going to be bothered with the fact that the guy is a traitor.
Disgusts me to death.
Keep publishing this thread, Tonk. We have to keep getting the word out on Hanoi Kerry.

Just my 2 cents?
You must remember that ever since X42's star burned out, the media- and I make a point of noting that this means both the news and entertainment arms of the media- have looked for a Clinton spinoff who they could promote, shape, spin & lie for, and generally take credit for creating. just like they did both Clintons.
Couple that with a near-rabid hatred and fear of anything to the Right- remember impeachment?- and it's a given that they "simply won't talk about" a story they do not like.
There are many more ramifications that those, of course, but they are among the main "drivers" behind the media's strange silence.

Tonk, the liberal media WANT this kind of man for a leader, because he fits their mindset: THEY ARE SUPERIOR TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.
They find it rather EASY to criticize President Bush, BECAUSE HE TAKES A STAND. That is contrary to liberal mindset, which is based on the direction of the political winds, therefore the term 'nuance' is bandied about by both the media as well as 'Hanoi John'.
To them, a person who speaks DIRECTLY must be an idiot... because they don't have the capacity or FORTITUDE to do that!
