I need help with my turn page paper on the collapse of communism

Hi! My name is John Martineu. Im 18 and a student of Dover high School in Dover Delaware. I have been assigned a final term project. We are to do a 20 page turn paper on different subjects. I am doing one on the collapse of communism. Since you coservatives know alot about this, I was wondering if you could help me out.

First Id like to know what communism is and how it is different from socialism? Second I would also like to know about why Russia collapsed. Third could you tell me why you refer to certain people such as Ann Goodman and Helen Thomas as Communists? Finally Id like to know the advatages of Captialism.

Every bit of information will help me with typing this up. Its due in a month and I hope to pass with flying colors. I might even post it on Freerepublic when it's done. Thanks alot guys

It collapsed because it became both economically & inherently bankrupt; ultimately free communications enabled enough Russians to realize the whole thing was a big lie which couldn't remain bottled up forever.

Third could you tell me why you refer to certain people such as Ann Goodman and Helen Thomas as Communists?

They are sympathetic to the beliefs, practices & personalities of the communist world, albeit dictators or their policies.

Finally Id like to know the advatages of Captialism.

well, junior, at my age and status (independently wealthy), I can spell things any way I so desire because I don't need to impress anybody, such as teachers or people I'm trying to weasel information from.

At your stage of life, you need to pay exquisite attention to your P's and Q's, not to mention your punctuation.

Here's a good example of why socialism is evil. Socialists like to throw in jail anyone who dares ask questions they don't agree with, such as a Christian who asks if homosexuality is wrong since that is what the bible says:

I'm not an O'Reilly fan. I can handle Sean Hannity when he stays on point but between his book pitches and "coming up next" statements actually translating to 30+minutes of radio time, I listen to him in small doses.

I do listen to Rush, Mike Savage, Michael Reagan, and others regularly.
