ead Richard Miniter's book, Losing bin Laden: How Bill Clinton's Failures Unleashed Global Terror.
Listen to his C-SPAN interview.
This isn't about anger. It's about malpractice, malfeasance, terrorism and survival.
This is not to say that one should not feel utter contempt for the clintons or anyone else who knowingly undermines our efforts to defeat terrorism.
"The right to dissent" does not mean "the rightness to dissent." In its grasp for power, the left (most audibly, hillary clinton) attempts to conflate the two.
Dissent in time of war aids and abets our enemy. Dissent in time of war endangers our troops. Indeed, dissent in time of war increases our danger at home.
Make no mistake. The terrorists, faced with four more years of effective, straight-shooting and courageous U.S. leadership, will try very hard to hit us at home in order to dislodge Bush and replace him with an inept corrupt coward like clinton or Dean or Clark. (Recall the PRC's position on the reelection of bill clinton.)
Yet in the face of the obvious, I fear "mistakes will be made." Bertrand Russell put this predicament, if not best, certainly most succinctly when he said: "Most people would sooner die than think; in fact, they do so." Don't lose
