Nation's Gays Say They'll Pass On New Jaguar And Just Stick With Their Mustang Convertibles

U.S. — After the grotesque pink design of the new Jaguar was leaked to the public, the nation's gays have confirmed they are not really interested in the new car and will just stick with their very gay Mustang convertibles.

"We appreciate Jaguar trying to market to us by being extremely flamboyantly gay, but we already have the gayest car known to man, and it will never be topped: the Ford Mustang," said Chandler Borgins of Los Angeles, California. "We'll just stick with these, thanks."

Experts say the Mustang, which has long been a gay icon, has been purchased almost exclusively by gays for decades. "Ford really caught lightning in a bottle with this iconic sports car," said car enthusiast Jay Leno to reporters. "There has never been a gayer set of wheels to ever grace the roads of the United States."

Leno's statement was tragically cut short as he fell down some stairs, through a glass window, and into some wet cement.

Jaguar preorder figures reflect the poor reception to their rebranding and redesign, with only one preorder going to a blind Mary Kay saleswoman.

At publishing time, the nation's closeted gays had confirmed they'll be sticking with their Ford F-150s.

My dad wound up buying and fixing up a Pinto for my mom.

She never drives it. The car is a manual and she had both knees replaced.

Parts for that thing were unreal scarce.

I loved the Subaru.

Just not the expense in brakes.

Our mechanic said that some were just like that for some reason. You either got a good one that didn’t have any trouble, or one like mine.

When you pass a Prius you hear it say “I-I-I-I’M G-G-G-G-GAY!”.

We saw a restored Pinto in NYS near Troy this past summer.

We happened to be behind it in traffic and even after all these years, I recognized it.

I told mr. mm *That’s a PINTO in front of us!* and he didn’t believe it until we got close enough to it to read the logo (construction delay)

The guy even had a sticker inside the window that said *A Pinto, not a Gremlin*

They are rare sights.

Dad will probably be stuck with that Pinto for the rest of his life because it belonged to one of mom’s friends.

If you like yellow Pintos, it looks pretty good.

Just before Covid my tech company staffed by a mostly millennial crowd got new laptops for everybody shifting onto a new cloud project… the new laptops? MacBooks. My team of grizzled GenX windows vets rolled out eyes and my boss said, privately, guess we all have to get Prius’ too!

Since then the company has pulled back and gently suggested selecting a (cheaper) windows laptop instead :)

A friend of mine has a red 60s era Mustang in pretty good shape and he is thinking about selling.

My aunt had a really nice looking white TR6 and I remember it sitting with the hood up just about all the times I saw the car.

I probably rode in it twice.

Just breakin stones. There are a few old Ford/Mercury’s I wouldn’t mind owning, and I’ve owned a few nice Chevy’s in my younger days. My first love is old Mopars.

>> Just breakin stones.

Ow. My balls.

I have 2 20+ year old Ford trucks. One of them runs! 50% operability is pretty good for a Ford truck, right? :-)

Also 3 Ford (not New Holland) tractors. 2 of ‘em run! Do you detect a pattern here?

The combined age of all my Fords is about 205 years. (The tractors are hard to date.)

FRegards

That's amazing. I saw a 60s red Mustang a couple of months ago and told my 2021 Mustang that that one is her predecessor.

I'm happy with my Mustang, but if I could afford classic cars, a vintage Mustang would certainly be one that I would acquire.

I had a 67 Cougar for a while in the early 00s.

The spouse did not approve and for a lot of reasons wound up being sold.

At least I have a nice 1:18 die cast model now.

Besides my days of turning wrenches are pretty much over.
