Think of the width: it’s on a table straight up and down, and you’re looking down at the top. The width is the diameter of the circular dimension.
In one of those photos, the microphone looks like its diameter is nearly that of a basketball, you could imagine someone more athletic than ol’ Mr. Trunalimunumaprzure, palming it like a basketball.

And if you argue perspective, then how come BiteMe’s *hand* doesn’t grow out of all proportion to the rest of his body when it crosses in front of it?
The laws of perspective are being demonstrated differently, for two different objects, supposedly at the exact same distance from the camera.
That’s called a shallow fake.

Biden probably said something or acted in such a way that they had to cut and edit the video. There is definitely some edits to what should be a rather normal, mundane event.
In your third screen grab if you zoom in on Biden’s right hand floating over the magic microphone you can see a difference in pixelation between his suit cuff and the fur on the “magic microphone”.

Wish I could. A deep-fake presidency? I’d need more evidence to leap to that conclusion, but I would never criticize someone seeking to find that further evidence!
Right, width. The diameter of a basketball is just over 9 inches. The diameter of the mic windscreen I linked is just over 6.5 inches. These are roughly on par, and the windscreen in the video may well be bigger than that. So I’m not sure your size argument works.
When you include the windscreen, that mic is probably a little bigger than a 10 lb. fire extinguisher. That’s bigger than you’d expect, which would make it easy to misjudge scale and distance in the scene.

Anyone who looks at a video of Biden speaking from as late as 2017 to any other videos after that can see a world of difference In Joe Biden's ability to speak coherently, stay on subject, and move his body in a coordinated fashion. As you watch over these last three years it is undeniable that it is he is steadily declining and will not get better.
Finally, all American politicians lie but the Democratic Party is by far the most guilty of lying outrageously to the American people. Deceptively editing a video is well within the norms of the way they conduct their politics.
There was media there, but it doesn't make it any less of an invented scene.
Just like in a magician's show where plants are in the audience to be selected from "at random", so are stand-ins for these Biden events -- although with the current level of corruption among the media, they may be a valid press-pool reporter.
The question was planned and staged. Biden knew the answer ahead of time, gave it, and moved on before the rest of the reporters jumped into the fray.

I am afraid that the technology of video editing has left you behind.
They are doing video manipulation with artificial intelligence now. Most people do not realize that modern AI applications are not hand coded by humans. They have AI training software allowing them to teach/train AI tools against one another on powerful servers and, after millions of antagonist training iterations these antagonistic software training creates AI tools that are a black box to even those who created them. Video AI applications AI tools created this way often produce weird effects that the developers have no idea of why it happens because the did not code the logic itself.
The question is regarding why this is being done at all. It shows video manipulation and if we are to trust what we are being shown, we need to be able to verify it and question when we see things that don’t make sense.
The usual reason is to make the crowd seem larger than it really is. In this case, they want it to appear that Biden appeared before a larger press gathering than he really did.
