A Supreme Court clerk reports that shouting and conflict between the justices of the nation's highest court occurred on Friday, Dec. 11, as the court was deciding to reject a Texas lawsuit challenging presidential election results in four key swing states.

1. Clerks don’t sit in the private meetings of the Justices. There would be no chance for a clerk to hear anything, let alone this.

No, they don't, BUT if the justices had a heated argument with raised voices, people could have heard that. Now, if a clerk has a spouse, that is a confidential conversation. If that spouse told someone else, most journalists would consider the spouse a credible witness. If Roberts doesn't credibly deny the story, POTUS needs to invoke the Insurrection Act.

I find it difficult to believe that the Supreme court justices would be dumb and naive enough to allow their debate to be overhead like that. They always keep a tight lip until the ruling comes down. Many people have thought they would rule one way based on asked questions only to have them rule totally opposite.
