Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Well that is really hard to say but since all the sailor types are black, perhaps he came back by ship (cheaper) rather than plane and they are crew members that he befriended on the way. The rest of them could be friends from the university that were glad to have him back. Maybe they heard about the wedding and planned a surprise party for him and Ann—they could have been expecting her to return with him. He’s wearing a huge pile of leis so maybe because she wasn’t there, they put them all on him. Of course maybe all of this is completely wrong about her staying in Kenya and she’s the one who is taking the picture after a return from getting married in Maui. There could have been more pictures taken which include her with him but they were either lost or not released for some reason. There’s a lot of ways to interpret pictures. We will never know unless someone else in the picture sees it and offers an explanation. Is it possible that Ambercombie or one of Sr’s other known friends could be in this picture? Is there any way to find pictures of what they looked like when they were college boys to compare with this picture?
Could have been Ann that took the picture.
>>>The rest of them could be friends from the university that were glad to have him back.
I think the one in the black dress is Janice Okubo.
I don't know...was Malcolm X?
Or maybe her mother.

Time Magazine must have been a lot different in 1965.
Apparently one can get biographical information about her here:
http://www.hoovers.com/hawaii-department-of-health/—ID__159129—/free-co-factsheet.xhtml
I considered signing up for the free search but I did that once with Ancestry and it seemed to take forever for me to convince them that I only wanted the trial offer so I don’t do this anymore. But maybe some one here might be willing to do it or know someone who probably has this kind of access that can look it up. I know there are people on FR and other “right” blogs that seem to be able to find biographical information about just about anybody almost instantly.

Nah, doubt it.
On both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, black leaders recognized the need for aid to African education. With the encouragement of American civil rights leaders such as A. Philip Randolph, the Kenyan Tom Mboya organized the African-American Students Foundation (aasf), which awarded Kenyan students scholarships for study in the United States. This photograph shows the Kenyan students arriving at Idlewild Airport in New York in September 1959 as participants in the first African Airlift. The baseball legend Jackie Robinson, who backed efforts to bring African students to the United States, greets the first African Airlift arrivals in New York in September 1959. Robinson later urged presidential candidate Richard M. Nixon to support the 1960 airlifts, appealing to Nixons interest in courting black voters in the upcoming election. Barack Obama wrote that his father had been selected by Kenyan leaders and American sponsors to attend a university in the United States, but a list of the students who landed in New York on September 9, 1959, does not contain the name of the elder Obama. Tom Shachtman, working in the African-American Students Foundation (aasf) papers for a book on the airlifts, has found that the elder Obama came in 1959 with support from the aasf but appears to have been routed a different way as he made his way to the University of Hawaii. Meriwether, Aug. 19, 2008, notes (confirmed via e-mail by Shachtman) (in James H. Meriwethers possession).
I don’t think it is a rerurn from wedding picture, somehow. I think it is a greeting from a ship voyage, not plane, and why are all those offiicial type people there - frinstance, the local HI women, and men in aloha shirts? If they were all greeting 0bama Sr and his new wife (with or without baby), someone would have spoken up and remembered about “when they came back from getting married”. Unless it was from getting married in Kenya, then all such comments would have been deep sixed...
Since no one remembers ever seeing 0bama Sr and Ann together for any reason whatsoever, I just don’t think it is a “return from getting married” photo. Photos memorializing such an event would have both of the happy couple in them, not a supposed father in law. Of course, others may have been taken and lost, but it seems more realistic that this is a photo of another event. If it was a return from getting married photo, most likely all photos would have had the happy couple.
Remind me who Janice Okubo is?
Her signature on her photo and in her friend's yearbook was not done by the same hand that signed both divorce papers. The only way that the divorce paper signatures would be hers is if her writing hand was afflicted with some kind of neuromuscular disorder, and/or she started writing with her other hand.

As Obama stonewalls on uncertified birth certificate, official doubts mount
Excerpt:
>>>A senior official in the State of Hawaii’s Department of Health, Director of Communications Janice Okubo, confirms that the image published and circulated by the Obama campaign as his “birth certificate” lacks the necessary embossed seal and signature. Backing away from a quote attributed to her that the image on the campaign site was “valid,” she told the St. Petersburg (Florida) Times in an article published yesterday: “I don’t know that it’s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.” <<<<
And then she back tracks to:

Proof that Hawaii did not verify the information on Obama’s birth certificate.

>>>Does this mean Obama was born in Hawaii?
Yes, said Hawaii Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo, in both email and telephone interviews with the Tribune. Thats what Dr. Fukino is saying.<<<<
I have always said this was a ship arrival when I’ve posted this. I was just excerpting the previous person’s comment to show what I was responding to. I was pointing out that Stanley Ann could have taken the picture.
Thank you very much, Calpernia - I was sure that her name was familiar.
Do you think this could be a photo of arrival other than 0bama Sr’s original arrival in HI, then?
I can’t tell when this photo was taken because I still believe that is Stanley Dunham, the father, in the photo with him.
