Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

KJ, you keep saying that. What is the difference between DeCostas and yours? The difference I see between hers and Obama's is:
1. Her border is different. (no big deal)
2. She has an embossed seal, Obama's doesn't. (does yours?)
3. She has a signature. Obama's doesn't. (does yours?)
4. She has a certificate number. Obama's doesn't. (does yours?)
If yours has all of these things then how can YOURS BE JUST LIKE OBAMA'S?
Obama's and DeCosta's are alike in that they have the same green basket weave paper (as does mine from Idaho). Obama's and DeCosta have the same questions on them IN THE SAME PLACE name, date of birth, parent, etc;.
So if yours is just like Obama's then that must be all you have on yours. Yours must be missing the embossed seal, and signature.
If yours has the signature will you at least provide us the name of the person who signed it and the date? That way we can call and see if that person is indeed qualified to sign the certificate.

Rude or not, this thing is a forgery. And people throwing out “30 to 60” minute, rude and condescending analysis claiming to debunk people that have proved it a forgery deserve scorn.
According to my uncle, the old Honolulu terminal was a semi-open affair with a thatched roof. He said the picture of the Pan American section and the pictures with Obama and mom and dad were taken in the new terminal. I guess the HawaiianAviation folks mislabeled it as “old terminal” 1960. I asked him again just to make sure. I’ll let you know.
I pinged you because if you were genuinely interested in seeing a certified BC that matches Obama’s, you’d join in my request (if Jim is inclined and he may not be) to have him (a person we can all agree would not lie) evaluate it. I didn’t ping you, txflake, so that you could make crazy accusations that I threatened you or am trying to “black mail” you or anyone else...unless of course you feel threatened by possibly seeing this fairy tale go belly up, and want to keep the dream alive.
If I posted my copy here, with personal info redacted, the same geniuses calling the Obama BC a fake would call mine a fake because the borders don’t match the DeCosta BC, etc. I would then have no way to prove it is legit, and the end result would be an exercise in further frustration and futility.
As far as analyzing all of the pictures of Obama’s childhood, I think it shows a sad, confused childhood and if there is any funny business with the pictures, I’ll have to trust that those of you looking at them will detect it. My only “dog” in this fight has been trying to essentially warn you that Obama’s BC looks exactly like mine and fighting the legitimacy of the BC on the grounds that it looks different than the DeCosta BC is totally the wrong path.

Mine has an embossed seal, but it is extremely faint on the front of the BC. (The impression was applied from the back.)

Mine has a signature, on the back. This signature may or may not be visible from the front on various copies. On mine, there are a few points of minor bleed-through. It is signed by "Alvin T. Onaka, Ph.D.", the State Registrar.

Mine has a certificate number. It apears Obama's does too, but it is blacked out. Why it is blacked out is a mystery.
Also, mine says "FILED" not "ACCEPTED."

I went there followed a link for the birth certificate. I got out my magnification glass and didn't see a thing. Not even a faint one.
If by chance I got the wrong site, please post the exact certificate.

I use a Firefox extension that allows me to zoom in on a picture until I can count the pixels one by one.

I have always acknowledged the slim possibility. It’s impossible to prove a negative when we have a campaign that simply hasnt released all the info (your words ‘stonewalling’).
There are many slim possibility scenarios being guessed at.
I’d estimate the possibility of Barack Obama being born in Kenya akin to the slim possibility that he is actually the love child of Sammy Davis Jr and Bella Abzug. Maybe I shouldnt joke or another rumor will get started.

Its a US passport, thus he had to show enough proof to prove he’s a US citizen to the satisfaction of the US authorities. He did this at least 20 years ago, when he travelled to Pakistan and then later to Kenya. Even in the (imho unlikely) event he use alternatives to birth cert, it was enough to satisfy authorities to his legitimate claim to US citizenship. As Obama was never naturalized, that means citizen at birth.

I can show you at least a hundred people within a few block of my house who were never naturalized.
We call them illegal aliens.
They're here, they work here, many of them vote here, as they registered when the went to the DMV, Matricula Consular in hand, to get a driver license.
Living openly in America, with no naturalization documents certainly doesn't prove citizenship.
Please. “Obama was forced to admit” requires a quote and cite from *Obama*. You didnt supply it. All you did was link to another *claim* that some such was forthcoming. Is this another phantom claim?
Ah Geez! Is this all his book is about? Remember the big news blitz after Clinton's lies? ARE LIES A BAD THING? LITTLE WHITE LIES ARE GOOD.
The people who are going to vote for him do not care if he is legit or not or if he lied or not.
