Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)
Israel Insider ^ | 3 July 2008 | Reuven Koret

Posted on 07/03/2008 4:35:19 PM PDT by SE Mom

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

I don’t think it breeds exactly.

Like bacteria, it divides to multiply...

Thy myth isn't busted until Obama releases both sides of the document. By only show the front side with traces of certification and demanding that it be accepted as valid, he's continuing the perception that he only has one side of a document to show.

STRATA-SPHERE.LINK.

The Obama “Forged Birth Certificate” Myth Is Busted

...the stamp of the state seal and the signature area impressions coming in from the back of the Kos and BHO Campaign images, further proving their authenticity - not proving a forgery:

...The date stamp from last year is clear, the stamp of the seal and signature area is less clear, but that just means someone applied little pressure - it is the ink that counts and I am sure we will see a scan of the back, when the blogosphere stop’s making themselves look foolish...

blogtownhall. link.

...QUESTION: Are there seals hidden from view on the "Certificate of Live Birth" images posted to (a) the Daily Kos. (b) BarackObama.com (aka "Fight the Smears") and/or (c) the two images posted on OPENDNA's PhotoBucket account?

ANSWER: YES to (a), but a big, fat NO to (b) and (c)

b) The "Fight the Smears" COLB:

(c-2) OpenDNA's 2nd COLB:

So, what have we learned from all this?

There's more than meets the naked eye, for one.

You can do a lot of devious things with graphics program, for another.

Mostly, however, we STILL do not have any GENUINE certified copies of Barack Obama's birth certificate or Certificate of Live Birth.

(I have not posted all the images shown on both links.)

Nearly 70K hits. Not bad for something you think is ridiculous.

“maybe he looked chubby because of a glandular problem? That might affect growth rate.”

Not necessarily. My grandson went through a very chubby period from around 11-14. Then he started shooting up to about 6’4” and thinned out completely. You would never believe the earlier pictures are him if you didn’t see it happen. I’m also pretty sure of my measurements. At most I think there could be about a 1.5” variable.

Grrrrr. NOBODY is casting doubt on the validity of the deCosta document. It is valid. And KJC1’s form is valid. We have a document that is *exactly* like the Obama COLB. reported by a freeper, KJC1...

It was KJC1 who cast doubt on deCosta - asking me over and over again WHO IS DECOSTA.(As if, if I couldn't produce her in person, she didn't exist!)

as for 'we have a ducoment that is *exactly* like the Obama COLB' that's absolute nonsense. Maybe you and KJC1 have seen it with your own eyes - but no one else has.

"...the stamp of the state seal and the signature area impressions coming in from the back of the Kos and BHO Campaign images, further proving their authenticity - not proving a forgery:"

Not sure who's words those are, but they tell us that the state seal and signature are coming in from the back but the date stamp is clear and that only means more or less pressure was applied. They forgot to notice that the date stamp was reading the right direction which would mean that they would have been looking at the back of the certificate and the state seal and signature, should have been as easy to read as the date.

If the state seal and signature were coming in from the back the date would have read in the reverse direction, like the other certificate that showed the front with his name, etc; on it.

I think, to get the entire gist of what both websites have to say, there’s no other way than to read them both...the BUSTED story itself seems to be BUSTED.

Oooopsies

Any side bets? Like the fightthesmears and dailycos images will change to show the proper mirror image date stamp?

Philosophical question:

If you post a graphic on the internet, and Google is not there to index them, do they really exist?

Two sixth graders just a few minutes back at a local CVS: "We like Obama because he's for Change!"

They did not like Bush because he's got a funny name.

And rational adults say, "What a wacky theory, what are you a screw ball?" when the questions about Obama's birth are brought up.

You are in among the many.

If you post a graphic on the internet, and Google is not there to index them, do they really exist?

I'm far too pragmatic to answer that philosphically...imagine that depends on how one uses Google Images as a research tool. I use it as a shortcut to the article I am looking for, as most do have images, so the Google Images lead me to the article...

If I do not find the article I am looking for through the images index, I go to Google Search, it takes longer, but I do find what I am after; the article itself.

Google Images index is very fickle, not every image from an article is shown. Images are also manipulated. Example -an image of a marriage certificate provided as a link on an FR comment to this thread was brought up and posted on the Google Images pages, as a later substitute for an obama CoLB.

Philosophically, if Google manipulates their image selections as I have observed, then yes, the images exist! (Like pieces of film on the cutting room floor perhaps?)
