Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

2. The blogger on KOS did not suggest that others print one up for candidate Obama. This article got that wrong.
With 1500+ posts and 30,000+ views, I thought it might be important to remember these 2 facts. (note: these comments are about THIS article. Not Obama's BC being real or fake, not supreme court decisions, not airport photos)
What was the likelihood of his being 3 in 1967 according to that one article and appearing 3 in the picture when he was supposed to have been born in 1961?
What are they hiding?

(Sidebar, the hospital they campaign originally claimed he was born at hadn't yet been built)
Wow. No excuse for that.
So in which hospital was he actually born...?
We have implicit, if not explicit, freedom to discover Obama’s birth certificate’s legitimacy, per JR.
Before you two further go off on all of us, I’m gonna have to call
creds on you two.
If JR tells us to drop it, we will.
In the meantime, let discovery proceed until you find a reason or a way to get us quashed.
I don’t remember the details. I just know the copy I have is accurate.
Who is Ms. DeCosta?
Jeremy Scott Smith 151 1983 000976
Patricia DeCosta 151 1930 010259
I presume the 151 is the county number. Not sure what the last number refers to, but it appears there would have been NO REASON to block out Obama's number.
More hypothetical garbage that has no basis for bringing it in this discussion. So what *if* you could do X, Y or Z when appliying for your passport. Did Barry? How do you know he didnt just get a copy of his birth cert. from hawaii records and send it in??? Why would his Mom lie about his place of birth? No evidence for this claim, just nonsensical “it could happen so it must be true” BS.
Are you that desperate that you are falling for this junk?
It’s like arguing with a guy who believe aliens live among us.
http://no-bama.blogspot.com/ - NObama, stop the Hype and Chains candidate
Obama must be shown that he is a socialist and a defeatist but all this insanity about his birth certificate and other similar silly issues are nothing but waste of time and energy, it will generate sympathy to Obama and gives this forum a very bad reputation as being controlled by crazy conspiracy theories people.
I can see why you wouldn't want to believe me, since it conflicts with your deeply held values.
No problem. Let's go to the horse's mouth:
From the State Department's passport web site:
Special requirements for children under age 16
"If you do NOT have a previous U.S. passport or a certified birth certificate, you will need :
1. Letter of No Record
Issued by the state with your name, date of birth, which years were searched for a birth record and that there is no birth certificate on file for you.
2. AND as many of the following as possible:
* Baptismal certificate
* Hospital birth certificate
* Census record
* Early school record
* Family bible record
* Doctor's record of post-natal care
NOTES:
* These documents must be early public records showing the date and place of birth, preferably created within the first five years of your life.
* You may also submit an Affidavit of Birth, form DS-10A, from an older blood relative, i.e., a parent, aunt, uncle, sibling, who has personal knowledge of your birth. It must be notarized or have the seal and signature of the acceptance agent."
END OF EXERPT
BHO could easily get a passport with a state issued Letter of No Record, and a note from his mommy saying he was born in Honolulu.
Mommy's DS-10A says he was born in Honolulu, therefore so will his passport.
Argue with State, not me.
Is the seal stamp embossed or is it ink?
Does your certified copy have a Registrar’s stamp with signature? If so, is this on the front or back of the document?
“I too lived and travelled overseas in the 1970s as a child. I HAD MY OWN PASSPORT.”
“Yes. Nothing preventing you, as a child, from having and using a passport.”
Nothing preventing Barry O. as well.
” But if you didn’t have one you could have still travelled on a parent’s passport.”
Really Mr Expert. I call BS on this. Did you do this? How do you know? My folks didnt do things unless required. We got passports.
And you are once again MISSING THE POINT as to the fact that when Obama DID require his passport, he needed his place of birth information AND his citizenship. Remember, you have to PROVE you are a citizen to get a Passport!
Now riddle me this: How did Obama get a USA passport if he was not able to prove he was a natural-born US citizen (he was of course never naturalized)?
Do you speak for Jim?
No one would have been listed as "Black" in 1961. Colored or Negro (or Negroid) were the terms in use back then. My mother still uses "colored", and she doesn't live in the South either. However since BHO Sr. really was Black, by comparison to most Americans with African ancestry, I guess they might have used "Black African" or "African Negro" or some such. Hawaii was a lot different than the rest of the country, since they'd been mixing things up since before they became a US territory
They were briefly the Sandwich Isles under the Brits, which is why their state flag looks like this:
The eight stripes are for the eight main islands. The field is obvious.
Riiiiiiiiiggggght!
Senators are above question. Didn't you get the memo?
That looks pretty clear to me ...Its either true or not ...if the posted doc is not Obamas real birth certificate why was it posted ? No tin foil here ...but something aint right with this picture

I had noticed that.
Yep, no reason why Obama can't have the Registrar's office open the records and people to verify that the certificate is valid.
We have Presidential candidates releasing their Income Tax forms for everyone to see. Why can't we have an actual certificate number from a CoLB...?
I always maintained that - THERE NEVER WAS A NUMBER! The big black rectangle was nothing but a cover for a BLANK SPACE!
but that's just IMO. (It's not where he was born that's the issue, it's WHO HE IS!)
My copy is stamped from the back (embossed—barely visible) along with an ink stamp of the registrar and the date the document was re-issued. Not that most people here care, of course.
Want to know a little secret on how to make it show up? Lightly run a pencil over it just to capture the raised edges.
You still don't say if you have a signature that shows the date they filed it.
Question? When did you apply for your official BC? I recently applied for mine in order to get my S.S. Would you believe all those years I never had an official birth certificate in my hands as probably most people don't. I just had my 44 year old daughter apply for hers. Most people just have a hospital certificate, but I don't think they give those out anymore.
