First off, nobody is normal. It's an illusion.

Half the people are below normal, and the other half are above -- but nobody is "Normal."

However, there are advantages to appearing normal, and these days, what with the abysmal clothing trends and wacky behaviors extant, it is less dfficult than ever.

It is even possible to walk around talking to yourself, and no one even looks twice anymore. All you have to do is cup your hand up near your ear as if you have a very small cell-phone, and they will ignore your irrational behavior.

So what then is normal? Normal is harboring the delusion that the world makes sense, and that you will reap an ultimate reward for good behavior. It's actually a useful delusion as it is the only thing that leads to happiness, but it's really quite weird, ya know?
