Do you want an easy reference to a homecooked tasting recipe? Emeril's garlic studded pot roast. One dish, really. Throw it all in and cook. MMMMmmmmmmm.

Well, our kitchen has limited space, so cooking tends to be extremely difficult.
The counter space in existence is measured as one foot by one foot.
And then there's my talent for converting food items, and anything else, into carbon.

LOL. Now if only you could turn that carbon into diamonds!

Sandwiches, and stuff cooked by people who can cook without doing the 'convert to carbon' process.
*chuckle*

LOL!

He'd definitely be a vegetarian if I did the cooking for him.
The only thing I cannot convert into carbon directly so far.
I'm sure I will find a way sooner or later though.
I found a way to convert boiled hotdogs into carbon.
(Don't ask...)

In the past it was a massive tumble for the hundredweight.

Now the BotUT creeps along slowly, and then there's a rush when a 000 comes around.

I still only have one 000 to my name.

Update: Next relocation of the flying castle

I have selected a location where we can finish our upgrades, link up with the “long-boats”, complete our fueling, and actually earn a commission as well.

To minimize the travel distance for the longboats, which, after all, have no propulsion system yet, we are going to meet them more than halfway.

You may recall that I wanted to find a nice, gentle harbor where we could finish the alterations to the metal basket which supports the castle, and that I thought a coral atoll would be perfect for our needs? Well, we also have to complete the isotopic separation of the (U-know-what) for the numerous Gas-Cooled-Nuclear-Reactor/Rocket Engines. A third necessity is to link up with the longboats which have been made for in a cooperative but not-to-be-mentioned Asian country.

I have found a place where we can do all these things! And we can even earn a small amount because they are actually going to pay us to haul away their fissionable material! Can you imagine?

All we have to do is make our way to a little place called Eniwetok Atoll.

Our longboats are going to be delivered there, and we will set up to make the connections to them and check them out, finish the isotopic separation, check on all the items we want to take along, make sure everyone is aboard, and then we can see what this baby will do!

I’m estimating three weeks to a month before everything is ready. I know this seems like a long time, but we are doing everything we can to make sure it all goes together correctly.

For example, our initial tests of the GCNR/RE disclosed that it is preferable to purge the system, using nitrogen gas, of any carbon dioxide before switching over to water as a propellant. You can’t look up that kind of information in an encyclopedia, you know. It would be embarrassing to discover this somewhere out in the orbit of Jupiter, for instance.

So we’re running the tests, and evaluating the thrust potentials now, just in case we need to modify the design a bit before we take off.

Any questions?

Oh, by the way, the plesiosaur that swims in the moat is really sweet and docile, at least normally. Anyone who seems to represent a threat will receive a threat display. It is best to back off at that point. You don’t want to get the old girl upset. She’s in a “delicate condition.”

I wouldn’t recommend letting dogs near her either.

Any other questions?

Hi, NnBob!

I take it your weekend "away" was fruitful? I have always wanted to see a real atoll, so thank you for choosing one. (I suspect our Earth is far more resilient than the Chicken Little/Earth-Melt Crowd would have us believe.)

What is the gestation period for the plesiosaur? Is there a special diet we have to take into consideration for her and/or her offspring?

How will we notify the prospective father? Or is he "caring" by nature? While not critical for our journey, the answers would satisfy a part of my curiosity. ;o]

If by "fruitful" you might include having an adventure, then my weekend was fruitful.

A Saturday evening snow in central PA closed one of the leading roads out of town. My brother-in-law had to turn back from going to church.

So we decided to stay an additional day. I tried to be productive by writing, but it did cut into my FReep time!

No one knows the gestation period of plesiosaurs, but I suspect we will know the completion of it by seeing either eggs or live young swimming about down there. She seems to be thriving on a diet consisting primarily of Tilapia, which we had started as food stock for us. Well, I guess there's enough to share, but I hope the young'uns don't grow too quickly!

The prospective father is probably bragging to all of his pub-mates, if he has any. I'm quite sure he knows.
