AMERICA- The Right Way!! (Day 739) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
All of Us | January 29, 2003A | Freepers and Various News Sources

Posted on 01/29/2003 2:30:52 AM PST by Molly Pitcher

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor our brave members of the Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Well, last night's speech was all we could have hoped for. And in a week, or two, the President will again address a joint session of Congress and the Nation.

This will be a one - two punch, and send the Dems and other critics reeling.

It's too bad it has to get so political on the eve of war, but the Corrupt Party started it with its overly aggressive attacks before the SOTU was even delivered!

So there it is: the Dems will be reeling. Excellent!

Our PBS station is playing right now an American Masters episode about Juillard. Very interesting to watch the young people, so talented.

See now, I was all set to post some humor (I will) but I read the name Ted Kennedy. Did you all know that this disgusting farce of a statesman, this totalitarian elitist actually spoke VS Reagan to the Soviet Leadership???? Sandy Rios, of CWA, had this author on who mentioned how tapes released by the KGB show that Kennedy conspired with our enemies vs. our President.

This is treason, and I hope someone in the Senate has the balls to call the jackass to it. Maybe if he engages in Filibuster to stop the democratic process this would be a good time to remind people of this treasonous fact.

This is another difference between Democrats and most Republicans. As much as we hated Klinton, we were not about to conspire with our enemies for political gain, something the dangerous, semi-tyrants of the DP are quite willing to do.

OK, the humor. I"ve been told to lighten up. Someone sent me these:")

I was proud of Orrin Hatch today. He essentially told the dims to stick it in their ear, that the nominations had been there for almost two years, and that was enough time for everyone.

Welcome.

It seems with each generation rules get weaker and weaker. This surely would not have happened in my day.

Drill weekend. I have the early duty Saturday morning. I finagled getting assigned to the Navy galley. Since it's a Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base, there's no Air Force dining facility.

Navy does pretty good in the kitchen. They even send some of their best to the Culinary Institute of America for a month of special training.

How interesting that the Navy does that.

When I lived in Berlin back in the late 60's, we used to go to the French NCO club for dinner. That was the first place I ever ate escargot, and an entire 7 course dinner was $3.00. Served on fine china with candlelight, too. The Britich NCO club also served American military, but the food was not exactly something to write home about. Ha!

I am having a look at that site now and will look into it.

Last week Mrs. Mulliner checked out What Color is Your Parachute? and we just now got done with an extensive exercise to list my skills. In this exercise there are 10 different questions, each of which probes you in a different way to help you find your skills.

At the end you highlight your six favorite skills. My list is: problem-solving, interacting with people, interacting cross-culturally, explaining/teaching, telling a story, and traveling. (I reserve the right to change my answers, though.)

Not sure where this will lead, but I think it's probably a good exercise for people who are really open to finding their most fulfilling career.

Well, our Family Member found out the info re Chelsea & SS. I am posting it, since we have all wondered at times.

She doesn't have her own SS anymore. However, when she is with her father, she is covered by his protection.

FM has inquiry with SS tomorrow; with State Dept in 2 weeks. Thanks for all of y'all's support.

Thank you for keeping us informed about this. I'm sure I speak for many here who are very concerned about your family member and want to see this come to a positive conclusion.

God bless you and all of your family!

How interesting that the Navy does that.

I just wish the AF did the same. I would be a prime candidate for it.
