Twenty families in a Lower East Side tenement using one backyard privy. The city had had plumbing since the 1840s but indoor sanitary facilities were slow to be adopted. (Cheap landlords?)
I found this amazing: NYC’s water supply was introduced without a companion drain system. (I guess they figured it would run into the ground like it had when they used public pumps.)
Eventually, Manhattan’s water table rose so much that it flooded basements and made a mess of every backyard. Remember: privies. Yech!

I think the vax is what’s wrong with my doctor. She has always been outspoken, but she’s different. She told another patient that she is having severe eye problems and she just doesn’t act like herself. When I was there the other day to check on my blood tests, she never once nagged me about the vax. She only nagged me about my cholesterol but nothing else.
I have my annual wellness check in July so she might do it then. I want to find an expert on cholesterol that isn’t all pro-vax. I’m seeing too much damage in people, just like you are, that can only be explained by the vax they took. It’s scary.
I’m surprised that she tried so hard to push it on me considering that she’s about 60 and black. I can’t imagine any black person old enough to remember Fauci being willing to go along with this scam.
Oh, and I’m SO happy that you finally got to attend one of your bridge tournaments!

Thank you. Salt Lake City is beautiful. It was fun, but the turnout was quite low and awards are based largely on the size of the field. There are still a large number of people who are afraid to be in large groups. That puzzles me since most of the ones who remain afraid are vaccinated. The thinking of that group as a whole appears to be a little muddled, though it’s also possible that they’ve figured out that the vaccine didn’t/doesn’t work and that their immune systems aren’t what they used to be.
People are figuring it out even if they won’t admit it.
The vaxed became too confident because they thought the vax worked, until it didn’t. They were the ones spreading the disease, not the unvaxed.

There may have been explosives inside the Murrah Building, but IMO it was the truck bomb that brought it down.
This crater was "outside" the building. It it a lot deeper than it looks here, still filled with debris. I stood in it..
This image shows that the hole was almost 7' deep through 11" of asphalt and 7" of concrete.
You can see the position of the crater relative to the damage.
The forces of the truck bomb lifted the front of the building off the ground and when it came back down, the concrete upper support beam broke and brought the front of the building down with it. We're just talking about damage to the MB. The damage to a significant portion of downtown is another story.
IMO there may have been other "forces" involved in the bombing, but I'm pretty sure it was the truck bomb that caused most, if not all of the Murrah Building damage.

Come to think of it, I actually did the bleach-vinegar combo (completely by accident) some years back. Never again! Barely got a whiff, but my head hurt for the rest of the day.
