Oh, and I’m SO happy that you finally got to attend one of your bridge tournaments!

Thank you. Salt Lake City is beautiful. It was fun, but the turnout was quite low and awards are based largely on the size of the field. There are still a large number of people who are afraid to be in large groups. That puzzles me since most of the ones who remain afraid are vaccinated. The thinking of that group as a whole appears to be a little muddled, though it’s also possible that they’ve figured out that the vaccine didn’t/doesn’t work and that their immune systems aren’t what they used to be.
People are figuring it out even if they won’t admit it.
The vaxed became too confident because they thought the vax worked, until it didn’t. They were the ones spreading the disease, not the unvaxed.
I, too, am glad you got to attend one of your bridge tournaments last weekend, but does this mean that you missed (horrors!) the Ace of a Lifetime at the PGA?
People who play bridge are extremely bright.
Extremely bright people are usually very educated.
Educated people trust science.
“Science” is telling them they are still at risk— so they don’t travel.
